Double Lethal Duels!

I'm sure this isn't meant to be, but I seem to now be fighting not one, but two lethal duels at the same time.
I invited someone to a lethal duel, and someone else invited me to the same. I accepted, and then the first person accepted my invitation. Ergo, two duels. Apparently, while you can't invite someone who's already in a duel (at least, I think you can't) there is nothing stopping you from accepting an invitation from someone who got into a duel after inviting you.
How I think this will work out:
1) I'm basically going into my second duel with "Bouts won: 1" already. This would not be an issue if I'd lost the first bout of the first duel, but now, the second duel could potentially end in a tie. (Do we want to see what happens??)
2) Assuming one duel manages to conclude normally, this will wipe out all my "Bouts won" AND the "Lethal Twist" marker, meaning that the other duel will no longer be lethal. And that I will almost certainly lose it.
Does anyone know anything more about this situation? Are there, in fact, measures in place to accommodate it?
