And, I am guessing, it is lagging for everyone?

Is there any particular reason why Tomb Colonists favour options are at the bottom of their faction and pet cards, while the other factions are at the top? edited by Arcengal on 2/11/2019

Same reason that the choices on the Relicker cards are listed all out of order instead of listed by increasing number of scraps, like they used to be once upon a time...? In other words, no idea. The choices on the faction cards are also out of order between one faction and another.

I have my own question:
Is there a way of selectively lowering a particular Dream quality? I am aware of the "Interpreter of Dreams" opportunity card, but that only addresses A Game of Chess and Death By Water. I remember that, years ago, each Dream had a different Schlomo opportunity card associated with it, which would trade that Dream quality for other outcomes. Have those cards been changed? Can we selectively decrease the other 3 dreams?

The third option on the "Interpreter of Dreams" card, to let him publish, lets you select any of the dream qualities. You need at least 5 of the relevant quality, but you don't lose any.
Separately, the Cave of the Nadir has the cards "A Waking Dream of Reflections" for Is Someone There, "A Waking Dream of Motion" for A Game of Chess, and "A Waking Dream of Water" for Death by Water. All of those cost 10 of CP of the relevant dream for a reward.

Thanks, Tyrconnell. My aim is to decrease Dream quality, but only the ones of my choosing. It seems that between Interpreter of Dreams, the Cave of the Nadir, and gaining/losing Stormy-Eyed, I can lose Death By Water, Is Someone There?, A Game of Chess, and What the Thunder Said. So there doesn't appear to be a way to selectively decrease The Fire Sermon or Burial of the Dead?
I'm asking this because I want to eyeball every single Dream storylet possible, including the ones which require cross-Dream qualities. (And don't ask me to look at the wiki -- that's not the point! ) edited by Vega on 2/13/2019

Is it possible to close one's Salon? The Laconic Prodigy has been a truly top-tier companion for a very long time, and I think I may have missed out.

Use the townhouse key from your inventory. You'll lose Notability for closing it though.

If you're patient enough, you'll be able to buy the mechanically equivalent Scuttering Scoundrels next Hallowmas for most likely slightly more Fate (25 Fate vs. 20 Fate) without having to invest in an Orphanage. Alternatively, the tiger Minister companions are each +10 in a stat and available without Fate. edited by Azothi on 2/14/2019

My spouse has been `...elsewhere` for a few years now, it's time I remarry. Do I really have to seek a divorce (thereby losing images of a wedding and possiblty the Empress' letter)? Is there any other option? I'm technically widowed...

No option that I know of, which is normal if you consider the opinions of the Masters on divorce.

Failing to rob the Brass Embassy and obtaining Memories of Chains send you to prison without increasing Criminal Record.

You can turn in gifts for Masquing from the Lady in Lilac card and choose to surrender a gift.

You can surrender all the gifts you want in one go, too. Make sure you have 20/21 masquingw when you click on the card, surrender the non-fate gifts first until you get to 30 masquing, and then go for the fate ones.
