To answer Skinnyman's question from the previous thread...
Skinnyman wrote:
Now a question: As I lost a point of Notability because my patronage was withdrew, I ask: how can I end my collaboration with another ex-patron? Been so long I even forgot about this aspect of the game!
If you're a Patron and want to reject your Protege, I think the relevant storylet is under "Attend to matters of Patronage" in Lodgings. If you're a Protege and want to reject your Patron, the storylet is under "Attend to matters of Society" in Lodgings.
Also, IIRC the person who did the rejecting gains Making Waves but not Notability. edited by Vega on 12/24/2018

Does anyone know when Knife and Candle starts up again? I'm new but I would love to participate so I'd like to know when it starts again

There has been no Knife and Candle for years. There's no estimated date, and "never" is definitely a possibility.

Ah, yes. But in truth Knife and Candle has existed twice and died twice. No reason to assume there will *not* be another resurrection.

Is there a soul grind more profitable than "Track down a spirifer" in Ladybones Road?

Has some ideas the Masters won't approve of like some items and establishing a Colony in Parabola.
I will accept most social interactions (not duping). I do enjoy role playing as well. Have some possibly still active codes!

Ach, sadly, while I (or rather the alt who decided to obtain a key to a brass embassy guest room in order to upgrade it this holidsay season) am a POSI, the renown is slightly too low. Maybe the cards will have mercy. Thanks though!

Oh those are Brilliant Souls... hmm it's fastest in my experience to steal Tales of Terror or Brilliant Souls by using Casing in the Flit

At least some of the recent difficulties with executing Social Actions people (such as me) are experiencing stem from having 200 or more contacts. Will removning contacts in Accounting Settings solve this problem?

Can someone tell me the storylet to pick up on last month's ES? I know I played the branch to queue it for later, since I didn't have time to play it last month, but I don't see anything to follow up--just the storylet for the new one.

Nothing new in Spite...I think there was a universal storylet after I unlocked the branch in The Season of Hobbies, but it's been so long since I logged on, I can't be sure.

Is there a fun bit of text along with the Expeditions' "A Supply Cache!" option? I quite liked the 1-Fate "Afternoon Off" option, but I think I'd rather tank an expedition (or just plan ahead) than spend 20 Fate if it's just a few lines.

I'm not sure about it, but was it possible to hold on Day 4 until the Penstock's Wicket opened?
Not sure if I should try another story for the extra ToL, but I do wonder if there will be any new items; the current design can hold a 6 card lodging.

It's the universal branch The Dark Bar which requires The Grief of the Zailor quality to exactly 3. edited by Skinnyman on 12/28/2018

You don't need to check in every single day - as long as you've played "Day 1: A Peevish Visit from Mr Sacks?" before the 14th of January you'll have the 31st to play through the sequence. It was right in front of me! edited by Skinnyman on 12/28/2018

Any best guesses as to when the Urchins will stop selling Lacre? I'm going to try for a certain special tattoo, and I'm trying to decide when I need to spend Notability to force draw the Urchin card for that extra pail of Lacre.

The Wikia page says until the beginning of January, I wouldn't take any risk and assume that means that from January the First onwards no more SNOWBOUND! Will occur and thus Urchins won't sell it anymore either. I do hope someone else has a more concrete answer that is more certain.
