My alt seeks to gift someone no candle, and in doing so obtain no candle. Any takers must have at least SMEN 3

Well I seem to have missed my chance, but I'd be very happy to receive no candle- as all my own were recently lost following an incident with a curio I picked up off the riverbank.

Prettysure he was referring to one possible ending of the scowling flint idol storylet where all the regular non SMEN candles in your house mysteriously vanish (presumably eaten by a snuffer).

Should you find no other willing seeker (which I see as very improbable), I would be ready to receive your nothingness, although I'll then just do something wasteful with it that will bring me no loss.

Vegalivia, the Shifty Spectre, is more than happy to gift no Candle... if one may gift them a Confession of Violence in return.
(In other words, a Confession of Violence is the last thing I need to unlock the storylet. I can trade Whimsy, Pride, Curiosity and Impropriety - but NOT Guile - to receive Violence. I've already asked on the Singing Mandrake thread, but if you are willing to part with your Confession of Violence, no Candle is yours.)

Emmot Tasser would adore no candle, and I'm fairly certain one of my accounts has a confession of violence.

One brief warning to anyone who's doing this - getting Destin's candle appears to use up ALL of your confession, not just one of each (i had 3 of several).
I mean, it's not a big thing, just if you want to upgrade anything, do so before candle shenanigans.
