There are beehives in the Neath, and some beekepers are mentioned here and there, so that's the wax for the normal-ish candles. Foxfire candles are probably still wax (since the Snuffers are after them), plus something fungal for the luminescence.

But we can't get enough wax down here, see. So you know what we burn for light? ...sinners.

Well, I know some are made in the tomb Colonies from dead Tomb Colonists (the Mourning Candles)
I thought that the ordinary wax always came from Bullbone Island's bees or from the Wax Wind on the Elder Continent...

pleasure to meet you.

Has some ideas the Masters won't approve of like some items and establishing a Colony in Parabola.

I will accept most social interactions (not duping). I do enjoy role playing as well.
Have some possibly still active codes!

Best not to ask too many questions about candles. You may find answers.

Time the Healer has arrived and I have the Earnest of Payment storylet. If I now change my profession to a different one without touching the Earnest of Payment, and then cash it in after switching profession, will I receive the Earnest of Payment rewards for the new profession I just switched to?
ie. I was a Trickster when Time the Healer gave me my Earnest of Payment. But afterward I switched to a Campaigner, and now want to cash in the Earnest of Payment for a Campaigner reward.

The Jaunty Mystic, Taranlei, roams the streets of London, interviewing fellow citizens. Member of the Sanguine Ribbon Society and the Temple Club (happy to send invites). Accepting all Acquaintances, lethal duels, social interactions, and opportunities for casual roleplay.

The Shifty Spectre has departed on the final voyage. "I have gone down, down, my love..."

Yes, that's how that works, as far as I know.
