Can a card stop appearing in your deck?

Hello. In game, my current character is a minor poet, and I want to become a journalist, which would, as I understand, require drawing the Demi-Monde: Bohemians card... except that card doesn't show up anymore! I've been looking for it ever since I returned to the game weeks ago, and constantly go through my deck all throughout the day, yet it hasn't turned up once. Is it possible to lose access to a card like that? Hrm...

No, you cannot possibly stop drawing these types of cards unless you no longer meet the requirement, but these affiliation based cards have no requirement so your case relies fully on luck. When I wanted to start working for the great game, I didn't draw the Great Game card for a whole week. It all depends on luck, so may luck find you, dear poet. Good luck, delicious friend!

Traditionally, it takes an average of 47 years to draw the card associated with the Profession you want to adopt. This is the Bazaar's way of reminding you that it's the one in charge here, just in case you'd forgot.

You can always (well, always as a Person of Some Importance) spend 7 Notability on favorable circumstances and draw the affiliation card of your choice immediately! And at completely unreasonable cost!
