The Gift and Menaces-Need help making a decision

Kitty Rambunctious Posts: 38 7/20/2018	I am playing The Gift for the first time and am faced with the first option so far. I really want to take the option labelled "unwise". but cannot afford to lose my dreams if my character goes mad. Could somebody PM me about whether this is something I need to be worried about? -- Currently under fire from the hellswamp that is the Surface and unable to reply to interactions. Skinnyman Posts: 2133 7/20/2018	It's exactly what will happen if you don't have a special drink and land up where you can use it! -- ESs items and quality requirements sheet. Please check if there are errors or if something is missing Achievement list if you're feeling bored! I am accepting Plant battles, Neath's Mysteries card, Starveling Cats and boxed cats. No suppers, no second chances gain and no need to cure my menaces!

Greg M Posts: 197 7/22/2018	Special drink is one solution. Another is that if you have at least one Memory of Light, you'll go to the Mirror-Marshes, not A State of Confusion, and you will only lose 10 CP of "Having Recurring Dreams: Is Someone There?" Your other five dream qualities will be preserved AS LONG AS YOU AVOID the option to go to the Royal Bethlehem while in the Mirror-Marshes.
