I bought Flint through the sale. I'm still in the very early parts of the story, and I have a question.
I'm at the point where the woman in the Light Factory is demanding that I give her back the Knapt, and I need to decide how to respond. The problem is, I don't remember why the Bishop actually asked me to steal the Knapt in the first place, so I don't know how important it is for me to hold onto it. I recorded most if not all possible journal entries I've gotten so far, but all I can find is the Bishop's request for me to go steal it, and not what it's intended for. I think it was explained in the text box for the choice that gave me that journal entry, but you can't record those.
I've got another journal entry, from investigating the Knapt after I got it, that says that the kind of striped metal that the Knapt is made from is rarely seen anywhere but the city of Caution. The entry seems to imply that because of this, I need to go to Caution, but I'm confused as to why that is because I can't remember why I was supposed to steal the Knapt in the first place. :S Can anyone fill me in on what I've forgotten?
@Rhode:
Trading the knapt will not lock you out from any major parts of the story, and will gain you a temporary companion in return. I don't remember *why* the Bishop actually wanted you to steal it, but, aside from one minor option in Part II, the story will still be available. Given that you're saving a relative of the Bishop's, he's ultimately understanding. My memory is fuzzy, but there may also be a way to regain the Knapt in Part II.
