No objection to screengrabs from me either.

I was really hoping to be able to go back to being an Exceptional Friend soon but unfortunately RL sent me another challenge and is terribly expensive at the moment, with no end in sight. One day I hope to be able to return to the game.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

I initially started Fallen London alone and on advice of a friend, soon after I began falling in love with this game. But then it waned before I got back into playing it last November. Since then I've been on the forums and absolutely loved the game more than before due to the amazing community and even more amazing team at FBG.
Purchasing Fate and becoming an EF have been some of my best purchases!
Thank you very much for the Darkdrop Coffee as well!
I do hope many players will buy the amazing stories that are on sale right now, as they're truly gems. First and only browser game I paid (and will pay) money for!

pleasure to meet you.

Has some ideas the Masters won't approve of like some items and establishing a Colony in Parabola.

I will accept most social interactions (not duping). I do enjoy role playing as well.
Have some possibly still active codes!

Like others have said, this is the only free-to-play game that I've even considered spending money on, not to mention repeatedly, and even subscribing on top. And the only game with long-term grinding that I've actually followed through on (normally I hate MMOs and the like for this very reason).

ALL THE SCREENGRABS. <3

Lady of Cold Steel, Lady of the Flit, Lady Alyssana Grey. A formidable woman, hard to read and slow to trust. Darkness lurks inside her.

Alts: (please direct all inquiries to Alys & say who they're for)
-Nikki, the Playful Daredevil, leading the constables on merry chases across London at every available opportunity. It's not a good robbery if you didn't get chased~
-Shylarah, waifish, wide-eyed, painfully foreign, entirely untamed. Her search for a way home now leads her to Parabola. There's something about her...
-Dr. Maxwell Thomas, a kindhearted physician who can't stand to see suffering. Moral to a fault, even to his own detriment. Unlucky in love.
I would rather be taken for a fool than deny aid where it is needed.
-Angie, the Cheeky Sharpshooter. Got her start with the Regiment and proudly operated their cannon for years. Rowdy, rough, and among the best shots in London.

For your pullquotes/screengrabs admins: Fallen London is a deliriously, addictively great game with some of the funniest writing in games and the friendliest fan base I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of.

Many thanks!

Many thanks to Failbetter for making such an enduring, endearing game. Like many others here, all the money I've spent on Fallen London past and present was worth it, as it's given me so much enjoyment and appreciation for language and storytelling. (I'm only just discovering the social side of FL; so far, the players are warm and generous and it's been very enjoyable.)

As I went on a lengthy game hiatus shortly before the Stories became a part of Exceptional Friendship, I'm very grateful for this discount on the older Stories. My birthday is this week, so I know what I'll be spending birthday money on - more stories!

The Jaunty Mystic, Taranlei, roams the streets of London, interviewing fellow citizens. Member of the Sanguine Ribbon Society and the Temple Club (happy to send invites). Accepting all Acquaintances, lethal duels, social interactions, and opportunities for casual roleplay.

The Shifty Spectre has departed on the final voyage. "I have gone down, down, my love..."

Hey, thanks for the coffee!

Without spoiling anything, would anyone recommend any of the stories in particular? I'm a sucker for lore, so anything that's lore heavy would be great.

There's no such thing as a bad choice among the ES sale. That said, I'd suggest the granddaddy of all stories, Flint: lots of lore, lots of potential benefits, and a chance to explore places you can't get to otherwise. (It's also the most expensive, so consequently that with the biggest savings.) #2 is probably The Empress's Shadow or HOJOTOHO!, depending on your preferences.

This has happened to a handful of people - I'm not sure why. But if you drop me a line: support@failbettergames.com - I'll add them manually.

I realized yesterday that the usual banner about "we are making change on the servers/ the new website for fallen london is comming Soon" has been changed for something new.
You know, the tiny banner, on the upper part of the fallen london website, that starts with an exceptionnal hat wen the banner is about nothing important, and use another image for something important, like a new event or a new exceptional story.

I saw some interesting things about a loveindie week 2018, and !MARVELOUS! a sale on some stories I wanted to buy, but thought were too expensive.
Thus I go to the fate page... to discover that there is no sales at all.

A small investigation later, I see that the sale was limited for four days, and started eight days ago...

And I got deconnected before sending my message, but I am the unhappy "guest" that got betrayed by the fraudulent announcement of FBG.

On a more serious point of view, it is true that the banner is not the best way to communicate with people like me, who are not on twitter, facebook, and unreliably on the forum, I am not quite sure how FBG could really communicate/give us information on a more efficient way, without becoming spam.

Personally I got an email notification (and that was the way I found out about it as I'm not on any social media either), but I guess those might be disabled by your account preferences. That said, if you've disabled emails, don't check the game regularly (to see the new banner soon after it appears), and don't have other avenues of notification, then I don't know what else FBG could do (other than finding a way to remove banners after they're no longer relevant - perhaps they should have put some effort into coming up with some mundane announcement to be used to replace the sale notifcation after the sale ended). Turning email notifications back on sounds like the only way to remedy the situation, to me.

It's intriguing because my account setting indicate that I should receive a message when "There is an announcement about the game".

But after investigating my email box, I see that it went directly to the gmail special"Adds" box, which I never look at ( between 5 and 10 useless emails are going there each day)

However, I think it can be considered that I check the game regularly because I use between 80 and 120 actions points each day.
