When you do something that costs multiple actions (like most of the casing options) do you get comparable increases in CP? Like... if I do a 3 action shadowy do I get 3 times as much shadowy CP as if I do a single action shadowy of the same difficulty? I'm trying to figure out if there's any reason not to just get my casings us through stealing paintings.

It varies from action to action. The only way to know is by looking it up on the wiki. For example, the casing options for planning a heist/robbery are either 2 casing per action, 3, or 4, depending. However, there's plenty of stuff where there's two available actions (such as this one card during flash lays) where the one that costs multiple actions is only as good as or maybe even inferior to the other.

Sorry, I might have spoken poorly. Let me clarify. I'm specifically talking about the skill check CP. Like, the +1CP to shadowy on a straightforward challenge, +2 on a successful low risk +1 on a failure... that CP. Like, I want to know if it counts as having taken 3 shadowy actions (so +6 to shadowy if I succeeded a low risk 3 action storylet) or if only counts as 1.

ie. Do a single 3 action cost shadowy challenge that gives 9cp of casing, and 3 shadowy single action challenges that give 3 cp of casing result in the same amount of shadowy gain, or do I get 3 times as much from the single actions?

After you convert everything to Absinthe and then you need 400-500 actions (i.e. 3-4 entire days) to get back to a point where you can side-convert for MW again (assuming you're cycling around 5000-6000 tier 2 items).

I need to increase my Shadowy, but most activities increase my Persuasive. Where are the activities for Shadowy?

It depends on where you are in the game. Start in Spite for shadowy; then onto the Flit and Mahogany Hall.

Once you are POSI there is the War of Assassins (options for all four stats); if you have a ship (or during the Fruits of the Zee Festival) there is Mutton Island.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Besides the election cards and the old information, we got new options from the Flash Lays, correct?
Do feel sorry for posting this here, but Surface time is limited, I didn't check the forums for 3-4 days and in the election thread there's too much... you know! smile

Many thanks!

It took me awhile to remember this question. Shall we ever get to go to Irem? For a Glassman it is a wonderful place. Besides we all know we would enjoy the frustration the characters involve would express with the "tense" issue.

Skinnyman, find the Flash Lay in the elections storylet. Do not go through the Veilgarden Flash Lay!

And Wilhelm, if you manage to get an answer from a mystical being, ask them about Parabola too! I am halfway grinding for the camp.

I purchased some fate a while ago, and I have about 100 left.
What are the best (I appreciate that that's subjective) fate locked stories?

Great reminder, thanks!
Think I'll need to start looking around the election thread to find all the echoes and see what the devil are these candidates up to!

Ι need to snub some acquaintances, so I can make space for new ones. However the action in my Lodgings only shows about 20 people. Where are the other 71?

When I try it I get 20 acquaintances per page in the drop-down window, but more show up when I scroll down. Could it be an issue where the game/browser doesn't allow you to scroll down?

Do you need to be in London to enter the Mind of a Long-Dead God? That is to say, if you raise your Stormy-Eyed high enough on Mutton Island, will you transition automatically or does it only take effect when you return to London?

It didn't transition me automatically when I raised my Stormy-Eyed high enough while visiting Mutton Island during the Fruits of the Zee festival. Don't think I saw the storylet until I returned to London, and since then I have been able to click on it by mistake without being transitioned. Which is something I think I read that it did: Transition the player as soon as the player clicked on the storylet, without needing to click on the action inside. But apparently not.

It used to automatically transfer you when you clicked on the storylet, but now you have to spend an action to get there. I think this changed sometime after Urchins were converted to the Favour/Renown system.

Please do not send SMEN, cat boxes, or Affluent Reporter requests. All other social actions are welcome.

Are you a Scarlet Saint? Send a message my way to be added to the list.

Indeed, that's when it happened! I know I read someone accidentally clicked the story before getting enough renown and favours; incredible bummer!

Is the Captivating Princess and the Generous Princess the same person, or are they two different people? (I have real trouble keeping FL lore in my head for more than about five minutes!)

Sigh, even if i scroll I still get 26 people. Same, because the elections helped me make interesting acquaintances. I am sending a bug report.

Is it just me, or has the frequency for favours-granting cards gone up?
