Naming the persistent discoveries on the map?

I've recently discovered the wreck of the Boatman in Albion and was wondering, why aren't the persistent discoveries (wells and wrecks) named on the map like every other permanent stuff? I think it could be nice, especially since those are interactible... It might sound like a paltry detail but it really bugs me XD
Bonus question: will there be a new port added to Albion? I crave for new stories and art
