Is there a way to raise Acquaintance: Sardonic Music Singer above 9? The City Vices card maxes out at 9, and it appears from the Wiki that all other options save one Alternate Success somewhere.

I believe that the "Advance your friendship to a condition of intimacy" option from her A Visit card is the only way to get it above 9, and odds are definitely not in your favor (30-40%, from my memory back when I consistently chose it). Plus, if the wiki is right, that will only get it to 10.
Perhaps she's just too sardonic to gain any more intimacy to anyone.

Wiki is correct as I was lucky enough to get 3 consecutive rare success, but this happened after after about 25 attempts (17 regular and 8 rare).

Is anyone else having trouble with a) the lantern card in Heists b) exchanging society favors in her majesty's court? They now do nothing for me, apart from wasting one action.

Jolanda, all heist cards that have lanterns on them are beneficial if you carry Insider Information. Otherwise, just hold them in your hand. As for London based cards, you may as well cycle any and all cards you get that do not give a) connections b) an EPA higher than 1.64 c) components it would otherwise take more than one action to make

Not recently but I *did* have the a) bug during the last beta and it was indeed a bug that needed fixing - so do email the support.
