As we can see a ''pata0520a'' who is most likely a bot from what little we can see of it, is spamming the election portion of the forum. Is anything being done about this already?

It happens occasionally. It normally gets shut down and deleted within a few hours. If you want to help the mods see it just go to the posts and report them.

I report posts like that occasionally early in the (UK) day and can confirm that Sir F. is very much on the ball, extirpating both them and the attendant bot.

The best approach with these is to report them then ignore them. Whoever wakes first will kill them. They do occur occasionally - but it's best not to start a thread each time, or we'll get clogged up with them after the spam is fixed. Thanks!
