We Seek the Name.
We knew this was a dark and unforgiving path.
We knew that we would come to no good end by walking it.
Yet here we find ourselves at last.
If you’ve chosen to read this, you’re probably aware of a tricky middle step along the path.
So many parts of this quest have been easy to cheat.
But 12 Notability is no laughing matter.
That takes time that, for reasons that frankly don’t concern you, I don’t have.
I’m going to finish this anyway.

What I’m asking, basically, is for advice/help increasing making waves or otherwise boosting notability.

Thank you for your time.

One can at least prepare to this grind by collecting things for lodging MW options like Nights on a Town, Bejewelled Lenses, Searing Enigmas, Personal Recomendations etc. And always good to stock Talk on the Town from Polite Invitation events! Cashing it into Personal Recommendation boosts MW, and PR + Collection of Curiosities + Bazaar lodging card + 7 Favours: Society = lots of MW and money!

Stocking up on Tales of Terror to convert up to Uncanny Incanabula is one way.
If you have a lot of Romantic Notions (or a good way to get them in bulk), each 50 turned into Visions gets 2 Making Waves

Sideconverting the tier 3 items (.50 echoes) is a common MW grind.

You can also skip the grind entirely by choosing the Torment destiny during seasonal events, the next opportunity being Fruits of the Zee in August. Hallowmas has a unique option for Destin's as well.

Why thank you all for your kind advice. I’ll shoot for August, but at this point I’ve shot past Erzulie (should be around 45). Sooner is better.
