A gracious fellow Londoner was kind enough to send me an invitation. I’ve accepted, and now see the storylet in the Forgotten Quarter.
My question is, will it remain there until I visit, or will it expire within a certain time frame if I take my time getting there?

The invitation will stay available for as long as you don't use it.
It's good for one visit. You can stay at the Club as long as you want but once you leave you will not be able to return without another invitation.

If you go, make sure to bring some jade. Also good to use to obtain Bazaar Lodgings cheaper.

Actually, both options cost the same amount of echoes: 625 each. 50 Bazaar Permits at 12.5 echoes each and 250 Volumes of Collated Research at 2.5 echoes each. Though some may argue that one is easier to grind for than the other, there's no basic monetary difference between the two. There's also not really any different flavour text between the two, if anyone's interested in that sort of thing.
