Hello, i just did a basic storylet (seduce a artist model) and upon suceeding, i got this:
"Game Instructions: Hello, Delicious Friends! We're doing a bit of book-keeping, and need to know where in your Persuasive career you are. Or, if you wish, start at a lower tier and play your way back up through the ranks! For more information, click here!"
I had three choices:
You mix with the cream of Veilgarden Society
You've been investigating the secrets of Veilgarden, and working on your own prose
You've been exploring the wonders of the honeyed world
I have done none of those things. So i choose the one with the less persuasive prerequisite because i could not go back/refuse that storylet.
But now it act like i just wrote a book named a mushroom epic, and i feel i'm missed some content, but i have never done any content in veilgarden, what can i do to not lose some content?
Now it ask me how to celebrate my triumph upon writing that mushroom epic book, but i've never done such things.

When this happens, it's usually because your Persuasive (or whichever) attribute is significantly higher than the game expects it to be, given where you are in the associated Making Your Name storyline. (You probably know this, but just in case: each Making Your Name storyline is tied to a particular attribute; for Persuasive it's 'A Name Signed with a Flourish'; you can check where you are on the 'Story' part of 'Qualities' on the 'Myself' tab.)
Failbetter expanded the Making Your Name stuff a few years ago (long before I started playing!) and they wanted to make sure that players with high attributes didn't miss out on the story content or have to re-play stuff they'd already been through, so they added these checkpoints... but it looks like you've been caught in the opposite trap! I would fire off an email to support@failbettergames.com to explain your predicament — they'll sort you out.

Yes indeed, it seems it asked me to choose between a name signed with a flourish 1, 2 or 3, but i could not choose 0, so i missed the first storyline. I will try to send them a mail, thank you for the help.
