Well, it's been April Fools' Day, Easter, and the end of Australian Daylight Savings - Easter Fools Savings, if you will - so that means it's time for weekly questions!

Maybe a question more complicated than supposed, but shy to create new thread. When there was last significant content update (Outside Exceptional Stories and major events like Election and Sackmas)?

Quite recently. In December I think the continuation of the Dilmun Club came up. Just a bit before that there was a flurry of activity with the Court and the Poet Laureate updates, as well as the Last Constable storyline. And of course, we had all the Renown upgrades.

With the fate locked story of the Wry Functionary, the last thing that happened was a failed assassination attempt and it stopped abruptly. Do I need to do something?

Hi everyone!

Can you please share your experience, is it feasible to raise your Renowned qualities beyond 25? Are there stories behind, or nothing awaits Londoners after this threshold?

Renown of 50 can be attained; you'll at least want to get 40 if you'd like to acquire all three renown-based items.

I actually have a question on Sinning Jenny's Finishing School....

I've read snippets about the carousel being profitable in terms of refreshing one's actions and/or opportunity deck. Can someone please clarify what the bonus is and how best to capitalize upon?

Thanks in advance,

I am no number cruncher, but you can refresh your cards in ~12 actions, depending on what studants you have, and have a 50/50 shot per go through of a Revolutionary, Church, Bohemian, Urchin, Great Game, Tomb Colonist, Dock, or (if you did a certain ES and sided right) Society favor. Alternatly, it is possible to finish the carosel to refresh with a handful of items, though this is tied to ESs. You also get several items automatically each pass, though which depends on your choice at the end each time.

Under the hood, Jenny's School is implemented as a Flash Lay with different content. Inside the School, your deck is unlimited. As a side-effect, when you exit the School your deck is completely refilled. There are a few other areas that work the same way--most notably Zailing, and off the top of my head, there's one such area in the Marriage of Feducci, although that one does not remain available after concluding the story.

I am not aware of any way to use Jenny's school to refresh actions.

Less a question and more a point of confusion/frustration: Regarding the Fate-locked story of the Velocipede Squad...[spoiler space]

Is the option to 'Expose the corruption' really not available? I don't understand why a Press Baron of Doubt Street would be intimidated by Jasper and Frank when I've gone up against the Masters directly in the Affair of the Box. Are my choices really limited to joining in or trying to reform from within? No searing expose to be found here?

Just to warn you: the story ends with what is practically a "to be continued" if your player character tattle-tales on the excesses of the Velocipede Squad. And you get yourself locked out of a carousel that could be useful to farm Broken Giant bottles, among other resources.

Really, the only thing worthwhile with that Fate-locked story is the Ratwork Velocipede.

I was playing chess with someone who hasn't been active in a while. The progress level is too high to cancel it, but in the meantime I obviously can't accept chess matches from anyone else. Is there anything that can be done about this, as I have a feeling the player isn't planning on coming back any time soon?

You might need to ask support to cancel it.

Supposedly the Bleeding Forest expedition from Flint will be eventually reused for Dilmun Club content. Eventually being the key word.

Raising Bohemian renown is the easiest way I know of, and it'll take you to 15.

Support have recently done this for me. Only took a few days from sending request to completion.
