All I've been doing for the past few days is grinding this one for romantic notions because by god, I never got over two hundred of them during the course of the game, and I've been playing for a while now. Could someone enlighten me and tell is how much does it pay off, if at all? The main reason I'm grinding it is literally just because they are so hard to find/get in the first place, so I'm taking while I can.

It's 0.48 EPA (in that Romantic Notions sell at the Bazaar for €0.50 each), so not particularly profitable from a filthy-lucre perspective.
You probably know this already, but just in case: if you have 50 or more Drops of Prisoner's Honey, you can convert them into Romantic Notions. 50 Drops will get you 10 Notions; a bulk conversion of 500 Drops will get you 105 Notions (a €0.50 profit).

I know, thanks; I Ironically find honey just as tiresome to collect. :| It's not about the money, just about the process of getting either of these things, (sorry if I seem like a total moron but despite playing for a while, I have yet to grasp many things about everything, haha)

I hate to tell you this now, but during the Feast of the Rose any character can consistently grind 8-10 Romantic Notions per action at Ms. Plenty's. Last year, my brand-new character bought herself a Townhouse that way.
-- Hieronymus Drake: Gentleman scholar, big-game hunter, scar-faced aristocrat. Remarkably sane, all things considered. Tanith Wyrmwood: Longshanks cat-burglar; Bohemian author; now, perhaps, something more. Bubbly, expressive, and affectionate. It’s not only still waters that run deep. Telemachia Lee: Gentle lady by birth, brawling Docker by choice. Good company in the drunk tank.

Romantic Notions can be ground pretty effectively in Polythreme. Alternatively, those who've completed The Marriage of Feducci and ensured all goes smoothly can grind 15 RN per action.
Trading in Bohemian Favours for honey (or Criminal Favours via A merry sort of crime) is also a relatively painless way to get enough to upconvert.
-- Optimatum, a ruthless and merciful gentleman. No plant battles, Affluent Photographer requests, or healing offers; all other social actions welcome.

Had no idea but thanks for letting me know! I'll be ready for the next year.
