I have an advanced character as a POSI, all stats at 200 or above, and working toward a Paramount Presence.
I was reviewing the wiki and threads here to see if there were any story lines I might have inadvertently missed along the way. I came across this and noticed that I only had level 1. When I delved deeper, I saw that in order to progress to level 2, I need "A Name Signed with a Flourish 4-6." My level there is 7.
Is there any way to rectify this? Perhaps reset something or lower the latter quality so that I may continue?
I'd really like to enjoy this storylet, especially as I can gain a little more Connected: The Masters along the way, and enjoy more opportunity cards. I don't know how I had done this, but there are so many stories to chip away at and return to later as you're progressing.

You probably can't gain more Connected: The Masters from it, by the way. That one caps out at 1 I think? So if you've got any Connected: Masters at all, it's not helpful.
Doesn't help answer how to play through it anyway, though.

You might try contacting support if you really want to try the card out, but to me, it seems like you dodged a bullet. That card is an instant discard for me at this point.

Definitely dodged a bullet. The regular path of that storylet is a big disappointment with very little in the way of material gains, and even the fate option is hardly any better. Though the very early stages (with regular re-set) was a wonderful source of a certain wine. And Mrs. G.'s goodies.

Yeah, as far as I know you can't go back. But that storyline is very short, it's expensive, and it adds a mostly used card.
The only good thing about it is that it allowed you to get an initial point of Connected: The Masters if you've lost them all.

On the wiki there is a link for actions that lower the quality "A Name Signed with a Flourish." It's saying that you need to log in to see that.
Can anyone here see that?
There may not be anything to it, and I understand what everyone is saying about the rewards from the content. I enjoy experiencing the writing and stories and I've found that I haven't been reading like I used to as life has evolved. Fallen London is keeping me reading because I can do so in digestible snippets throughout the day.

I believe it is capped at around 10 or 11 levels of Connected:Masters. Was for me, anyway.

There's no way to lower that quality. The wiki just automatically generates links to categories for gaining and lowering each quality because of the way the page templates work.
