First off, I'd like to extend my warmest congratulations to all who just married the Missionary or the Firebrand, and my thanks to Failbetter for making that possible. I understand many people have been asking for these marriage options, and I wish them every happiness in their new relationships. ^^
Alas, my main remains single. :p She is pining after the Pirate Poet, and nothing in this game would make me happier than to be able to marry her at the next Feast. So I got curious to see how many people share that wish, and to try to find out who the most popular spouse requests are, now that the Missionary and the Firebrand are available. So I made a poll, based on the most popular choices on this thread and on other conversations I've seen around the forum. It is entirely possible I've missed some important character, and if so I apologise. Feel free to add your favorites.

Give it back he looks weird without it :P Ugh, fine. But that's for after the Feast, you know how hard it is to get a table at Dante's when your partner is wearing several rats stitched together?!

Ops! I'm sorry, I assure you it wasn't intentional. I mostly went through that thread taking note of how many people mentioned each character, and how many likes the posts requesting each got, and then chose the most popular from those and added some that weren't on that list, but who I remembered having a significant number of admirers. The Jovial Contrarian should definitely have been one of those, but the poor fellow completely slipped my mind. My bad.

Can we marry the Boneless Consort yet? And I picked Masters because Eaten is still technically a Master and he could use a hug

I'm scared to ask for any new spouse options since I'm worried they'll come with an art "upgrade."

I'm surprised that the Quiet Deviless and the Green-Eyed Devil aren't on the list. They are both often requested as potential spouses.

Hubris is still carrying a torch for the Quiet Deviless. And, as much as I adore the Pirate Poet, I'd see her more as a big sister.

Again, this is kind of a vote for ol' Green-Eyed too -- though I confess he seems to have captured imaginations less.
To be fair he's not involved in any real story lines aside from the Vicar which I blasted through long before I was aware of the Feast otherwise I might have held off to at least get something out of putting money towards the Green Eyed Devil. I was perfectly aware that outside of RP purposes that I wouldn't be getting anything out of it but as time has gone on I find myself quite annoyed by this fact. Let me marry him. Throw a soul at him. Something to make throwing money at FL for something other than stories worth it.

I was going to complain about a glaring absence on the poll, but it seems the devils are already well-represented in the comments. My very favorite would be the Quiet Deviless, but I'd be willing to settle for any of them that isn't Virginia.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.
No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

I personally picked Silk-Clad Expert, but would also like to give a shout out to Lady Black (she's lonely, she's cute, she's cool lore, she molds dreams like clay) and July (July) as wonderful alternative options.

Not sure if you can currently marry the Quiet Deviless who is only after your soul, and perhaps a chat now and then, but mostly after your soul. Yeah, pretty much after your soul... that delicious soul you carry about with you. Oh and perhaps sherry, but really your soul.
Since it is not on the list of options to vote for does that mean she can be married? Or you just didn't think anyone would be dumb enough to want to marry someone who might be somewhat after something, inconsequential of course. I'll have to find out now

My main is a bit Devil-obsessed despite her better judgement so the Affectionate Devil or the Green-Eyed Devil would be my first choices. The Once-Dashing Smuggler is also interesting though I wouldn't say no to brand new options either, provided they come with storylines where you get to know them a bit.

PLEASE let me marry the Pirate-Poet. Failbetter I'm begging you. Let my main nonbinary mostly-human marry a clay woman pirate with poetry literally tattooed all over her body

Well, I doubt that the love of Doctor Blake's life will be a viable candidate anytime soon, so ... I had to be creative
(he had to switch out of his rat-faces for the church ceremony)

Well, at the end of Light Fingers...
...you do smash a love potion riiiight into his face as you share an intent gaze. If that isn't foreshadowing then I don't know what is!
My main has always carried a torch for the Last Constable. And now that her storyline is finished (and since she has long been available as a Feast of the Rose companion) I hope he can finally marry her. Then again, I wouldn't mind having our former mayor, Sinning Jenny, as an alternative.
