Friends! I would never be so gauche as to say "first post!" but salutations! This is my first venture onto the boards since I took up the Great Game some years ago. What prompts this unprecedented foray?

I need a rock.

In my defense, it is a very shiny rock. A single Venom-Ruby will net me a snazzy walking-stick, for which my hunger is frankly unreasonable in its ardor. Name your price! I'd be more than happy to reciprocate through the Commotion card or any social congress a generous stone donor might desire. Feel free to apply here or message me directly. In the idiom of the Colonies where I passed my youth, thanks, y'all!

Anyone interested in acquiring stones is also invited to reply to this message. There's an earlier thread for rock-related doings, but it appears to have fizzled three years ago, and I am not in the business of necromancy, digital or otherwise. I'm happy to take up the faceted banner.

Cheers,

I can do that, pending the card showing up. No charge, I'll be glad to be rid of them. The monkeys and urchins that have overrun my lodgings will insist on playing marbles with them, and they leave the damn things all over the floor for me to slip on and nearly break my neck.

Send to the character in your signature, yes?

Try not to blind too many butlers with that walking stick!

I hear bombazine slipcovers are particularly effective.

Plynkes, Barse, my thanks again to both of you. My cane is blinding in its magnificence. Also just regular blinding. I may need to retain counsel for injury suits.

Chrona, I have the gift card in hand, but am one bloody ruby short of being able to transmit it. Should my fortune turn, I will be more than happy to pass my spare stones along. To whom much is given, much is expected, after all. Plus, per your noms de guerre you have excellent taste in gaming.

Cheers,

Ah, a case of mistaken Arsenes. I have the correct Arsene as a contact now. Unfortunately I no longer have the card, but will send some jewels his way when I do.

I imagine that other Arsene is not available because they celebrated their victory over Chelsea last night a little too vigorously and are still recovering.
