Good evening;
Having secured the use of an over goat, i wonder how do you go about increasing Caprine Authority? Your advice would be most wellcome.

The only use for it is on the "All Fear the Overgoat!" card, and all that matters is whether you do or don't have the quality. The amount doesn't matter.
But yes, the heptagoat is the ultimate increase.

Is getting a second goat worth it? I could buy another one but I'd have to sell a fair amount of my tier 1 items.

After you get the second goat, you can combine them for the single most powerful companion in several areas, and that's the one that increases caprine authority.

It's worth noting that going up to level 3 Caprine Authority via Heptagoat will cause the Watchful boost to disappear. For as superlatively caprine a Heptagoat is, it's strangely useless when it comes to observation.

If you have 1 Fate around, go for it! With the Ubergoat and some of the best watchful items, the Goat card's 8 AP option becomes very profitable when using Second chances; considering it's 1 AP to get the second chance you get to ~2.3 EPA (around 20.8 E for 9 AP).
