So, I've noticed that the Making Waves requirements to summon the Amanuensis and boost my Notability have increased by 1, on both my main characters. It was easy to notice, since until recently the MW requirements for both of them happened to be multiples of 4, and now they are both multiples of 4 + 1. I haven't made any changes to their BDR equipment sets, so I'm wondering if something changed behind the scenes, or if I'm just missing something. Anyone else noticed the same thing?

Everything is normal for me, no increase - check your home comfort, transport etc? Or make sure you haven’t accidentally swapped your outfit, I do that quite often.

There have been reports by a few users that some (or all?) Boot items don't work at all (Kingscale Boots were mentioned as an example).
Possibly you've effectively lost a BDR point from your lack of Boots?

I have the Language of Laces equipped and that at least is working fine, so perhaps try that if you have it?

The Respectable boost from Defenestrating Boots also applies. Kingscale Boots seem to be completely nonfunctional, however (none of the attribute modifiers are applied). Very odd.

A long while back, when I first started playing, my Fourth City Rags did nothing. Contacted support and they fixed it.
It'll probably be fixed early in the workweek.

Thanks, this was the problem--I've always used the Kingscale Boots for my BDR boots, so it's good to know they're not working. Switching to Language of Laces or Defenestrating Boots brought back the missing point of BDR.

I don't use my Kingscale Boots much since I got the higher stat boots from Where They Bury the Bodies, but I'm seeing the failure of the Kingscale stats to register as well--I just tried it. Seems to be a general and recent problem with that item.

I recently (like within a few days) bought a pair to get the extra BDR point I needed to get the next notability stage and can confirm they worked for me also.
