Options on the "All fear the Overgoat!" card have 200 and 300 Watchful checks (that's 100% at 334 and 500, respectively).

The Nadir has "An Unlikely Garden" with a ludicrous Persuasive 1000 check. "One's public" has a 200 check, although oddly enough the easier option will often pay out more (I haven't run the math, but I think it's on average more profitable). And the card from having lodgings at the Bazaar has a Persuasive 150 check, which hits 100% at 250. Not at all impossible, but definitely only reliable for a well-equipped Londoner.

If you take a pail of so-called snow and "Feed it to a Wild Boar" you face a Dangerous 200 check.

Here are some of the toughest challenges, only listing if the challenge level is at least 300 (i.e. requires stat at 500 for 100%), though lower challenges exist which will not be 100% straightforward even for end-game players with max gear:

General:

Watchful:

Shadowy:

Persuasive:

After doing some research, I've discovered that you can get cantigaster venom through the fate option on Sackmas. Since I already have Feducci's lance and completed the Last Constable/Cheery Man story, what could one use the venom for?

I find the Unlikely Garden card in the Nadir is always worth a roll. It's quite often paid out for me.

How much Noman's Friend does Time take every week? I saw somewhere it's between 0-70, so does that mean as long as I keep it above 70+ I'm golden?
P.S. Why is getting pails from the urchins so bloody expensive? They'd better have good reasons for ripping me off.

The Noman takes some amount every week depending on the time of year. Early in January it doesn't take much at all, but later in February it'll start taking ~70 a week, yeah.
And the pails are expensive because people are still willing to pay that much to get them. Supply and demand, ya know.

Re: Stat checks. Another one that I dealt with recently was "A dangerous source" from Port Carnilian. Broad 235 check, makes the whole cycle more profitable when appeasing the tigers, and gets striped delights without pissing off the Khaganians.

Expect to lose more like 150 Noman's Friend after the first 2 or 3 weeks. The rate accelerates rapidly from week to week, and the amount is random.

This, of course, assumes that FBG don't make the decay rates even harsher this year. They are doing that from time to time, to keep the number of players who manage to get the Noman tattoo low.

Oh dear, that's much more than I expected. I was aiming for 300-400 Noman's Friend, but this means I'd probably have to get it up to at least 500+, possibly 750ish to be safe. Thanks for telling me this, I guess it's back to the grindfest for me. Hopefully I can get 10 more pails before everything melts, it's definitely not been fun grinding, and I'm probably not going to get that tattooupset.

Just note that we don't know the exact decay rate, only that it gets worse from week to week.

If I remember correctly, having Noman's Friend 400 was usually enough, but not sure if guaranteed.

Is there a good grind for whispered hints? I decided to upgrade my bazaar lodgings this season, but I realized (possibly too late) that I don't actually have the bazaar premises in the first place. I'm a bit over halfway there.

Bazaar lodgings are available more cheaply through Baseborn and Fowlingpiece, in the Bazaar Sidestreets. You need 50 Bazaar Permits for that, best obtained through Thefts of a Particular Character in the Flit.

I was wondering what the next step is for the Dilmun Club. I've obtained access to one of the Ministers; do I need to speak with all four to progress?

You have probably arrived at the new Dilmun Club content boundary. There is no more to do at this point past spending time with your ministers at the Court. I don't think there's a timetable for any more updates at this point, Sunless Skies is probably requiring everyone's attention right now.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. In the meantime, I guess I'll see what happens when I collect all the Ministers. Thanks again!

So I just set up my orphanage for the first time and the game warned me if I sold my townhouse I would lose my orphanage.
...Wait, we can sell our lodgings? When? How? I would love to get rid of the lower tier ones if that's an option.

If you are terribly, terribly, unwise, then it is possible to lose all of your lodgings, the Handsome Townhouse included. I really wouldn't recommend it.

For seekers like myself, it's either that or losing all of your connections with the factions or paying real money; that's why I never put much effort into getting special lodgings other than my bazaar premise.

I'd recommend not selling lodgings at all. Having several different lodgings cards is a great way to collect Certifiable Scrap, and some, such as the Rooftop Shack and Cottage by the Observatory, have ways to gain significant Making Waves boosts.

I get the gist of keeping all lodging cards, but I'm in the middle of a seemingly never-ending grindfest for pails and all lodging cards minus the Bazaar one are making the grind even more miserable than it should. It would be really nice if we can temporarily get rid of unwanted real estate and be able to get them back later, even if at higher or randomized prices. I also really want an option to burn down lodgings and file for insurance claims, then rebuild the whole thing, or not.
