Gods wake ye merry gentlemen Tremble and dismay The Crimson Beast of Winter comes To make you all his prey Keep your fool selves from his sack Or you'll be drained away For the Masters' lacreous ploy Lacreous ploy For the Maaaaasters' lacreous plooooy
D'you know, back when this was first written, we were still dealing with Original Sacks. That was, like, three schemes ago. Still kinda catchy, though. In any case, Christmastime is here, and here's this week's thread for quick questions!

The only one that comes to mind is in the Nadir. There is a card there that raises all your dream qualities by 1 CP. There are no grindable ways that I know of.

A card in the Nadir is the only non card way that comes to mind? That place surely does mess with one's mind, doesn't it?

Is anyone else unable to set plans at the moment? The little tab has disappeared for me.

The tab is still present for me (though I'm still experiencing the box icon issue).

I had a note from support saying that they are aware of problems with the fate tab not appearing and hope to fix it in the next few days.

Before journeying to the Winking Isle for SMEN, is it possible for someone to convert all their stuff into tribute in the Fifth Coil in order to minimize the amount of echo value that they lost? I ask this because the recent inclusion of tribute and the court may allow a way to convert echoes into tribute in order to prevent too much loss.

The common wisdom right now is to store value as Connected items (Bright Brass Skull, Engraved Pewter Tankard, etc). Most of them can be bought for 62.5 and sold back for 60, a loss of less than 5%. This also doesn't require actions, unlike Tribute.
You do have a point, though. If one intends to eventually re-acquire the Tribute-based items, it would be more efficient to store the value as Tribute directly rather than having to liquidate multiple times with an extra loss.

If you're at Winking Isle you're fairly unlikely to need much money in the future unless for some reason you intend to turn back.
But if you do want money, yes, tribute is a way to not just hide it for minimal loss but enable a grind that turns a profit on all that wealth you're hiding.

I have a question. If one has more companions than they have slots for companions, what happens? The same goes for weapons, hats, etc.
I have been informed that there is no limits in regards to how many companions, weapons, hats, etc. I can have. Thank you for answering. edited by Harry P. on 12/10/2017
