Greetings. I just purchased a ship and I have a question. If I sail out and leave London, will the cards in my hand disappear? Or will they still be there when I return home to London?

This question has been answered. I have been informed they will not disappear and will still remain in my hand when I return. Thank you for answering.

If you are ever in need of any assistance, do not hesitate to ask either of them. The second one is still finicky, though.

Your cards will be waiting for you when you return to London.

I have another question. Does anyone know what yearly events and holidays there are in the Neath and when they start and end?

The events and holidays. Most last around two weeks except the one just coming up. Exact dates are difficult as they change

Sackmas - The Advent Calendar (starts 1 December ends 25 December) - [time sensitive access codes via social media] and later in December Lacre (Neathy snow) falls weekly with Time the Healer and then the Twelve Days of Sackmas cards. Leading to the opening of Penstock's Wicket in January.

The Feast of the Exceptional Rose (February around Valentine's Day)

The Mayoral Election (June or July I don't remember exactly when)

The Fruits of the Zee Festival (August)

Hallowmas (end of October)

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

I have a question - I notice that people can trade eyeless skulls in another thread, and I was wondering what the mechanism is to trade items between Londoners? I've looked at sending letter options but nothing seems to jump out in terms of being able to trade anything in particular?

Any help appreciated smile

If I remember rightly, the option comes up to ask a friend for one during the Cave of the Nadir quest itself. Don't know if there is way to exchange them outside of the quest.

Yes only at that stage of the Nadir Quest and only if the person requesting a Skull doesn't have one (so if they send out more than one request they cannot get multiple skulls.
unless they sell them instead of using them to open the route
To clarify, there's no general way to send items. There are a few items that have ways to be exchanged, most notably Eyeless Skulls and Starveling Cats. You can also send gifts via the "Give a Gift!" card, but there's a very small list of things you can send. Spend 10 echoes for a random gift (probably worth less than 10 echoes), send a bunch of rats, or send some jewels.

Has anyone invited the Captivating Princess to their Salon? I was thinking of taking that option to boost my Notability from 14 to 15, and I thought it would be nice to get some text I have never seen before in the bargain. I do not mind the 1 Fate, but getting Salon to 20, is a bit frightening!

She'll eat up almost the entirety of your Salon scheme and give you far more MW than you'll likely need to boot. It's something like 1500-2000 MW CP.

It'll definitely let you get your Notability up. It's just probably not really cost effective.

In general, salons let you spend 15 CP of scheme for around 150 CP of MW. The Captivating Princess spends somewhere around 200 CP of scheme for well over 2000 CP of MW. It's a better conversion rate, but it's also mostly going to go to waste because there's nothing that actually uses that much MW unless you're trying to get to 15 Notability with absolutely no BDR to help.
