Yes, I do a lot of them and I always feel the same! The cap is terribly low; unlike say zailing which keeps rising and does make a Nadir option easier. Obscure, tiny change, but it makes zee voyages less tedious!

No-one, living or dead, has ever done more than five archaeologies.

As someone very frusterated with how hard it is to raise Hedonist past 10, I'd like to ask if sex on the throne wooing the Barbed Wit or anything similar with those seductions in shuttered palace will raise it.

It is more of a traffic jam. I strongly suggest people to give it some time before interacting with Huffam - you might very well lag out and not get to see your piece of text from the interviews.

Decembar is geting close. I want to grab some home comforts. What is diference betwin airs depended options 'An unexpected volunteer'(30 FATE). There is two options with airs (0-50) and (51-100). I;m interested in home comforts with BDR points. Which option to choose for those home comforts.

The only difference is the text (which Master it is you're helping). There are actually four options, since each of the Airs of London ranges has a regular and an alternative success.

But besides the text you get the same reward for all options - you get the Incarnadine Fur Robe, which lets you choose your Home Comfort of your choice (or the Pony, which is a Transport).

Not at all! You're in luck - that's the one dream that can be increased quite quickly without the dream opp cards. If you get your little plant friend big and strong, it starts producing counterfeit heads of John the Baptist, and each has an option to raise your Death By Water by quite an amount - I know of a certain player with DBW somewhere over 50 through this method.

..Of course, this still requires raising the plant to, I think level 16? So it might not be handy for you right now if yours is still young.

Chrome is working better than firefox for me, though I don't think that's anything other than coincidence. The problem is server side, not client side.

Should get better as people finish turning in their hallowas stuff.

I don't. Nothing is working right now for me. So I don't think you need to worry.

I do believe so, yes - you don't get extra CP to make up for it being a multiple action check.

Same here. Server is crawlinggggg. Seems like I can only play an action every 5 mins or so. I’d come back later, except that I’ve 40 actions on my candle and it’s almost bed time for me.

My plant is 18+ I think? I have a small stack of his heads lying around, what option on it raises DBW?

If your plant is 16-18, you'll be drawing plant-related cards, one of which gives counterfeit heads. If your plant is 19, then you no longer draw cards and might need to lower your plant's level by losing a round in the Tournament of Lilies.

The option to raise Death by Water is the option that also requires Death by Water 5+.

I also heard it would help to get a Laudanum addiction - but I do not know if you want that for your character.

alas, as a fiend i can confirm laudanum addiction doesn't raise hedonist above 10. A threesome with barbed wit and acclaimed beauty on the empress' throne, however; it used to be that this option increased hedonism above 10. not sure if it still happens these days after rework?

If you are a Shepherd there can be a certain double-agent quality about you. You often impersonate Devils to retrieve souls, and where better to hide yourself than in plain sight among them? My character is an absolute hedonist. She lives at the Brass Embassy, and as far as the Devils are concerned she is practically one of them (Renown 50). She is also a Shepherd, secretly working against them. So there are ways to role-play your around apparent contradictions.

But unlike your character, she does actually like them and enjoy their company, she doesn't really have to try very hard to appear comfortable among them; and only became a Shepherd herself when she lost her own soul and discovered what it felt like. So maybe that wouldn't work for you.
