True. I had money from the cider grind and dove in right after Hallowmass. I cannot imagine how much it will take for anyone else. Still, the stats on the ministers kind of compensate.

Uh-huh. I cannot say I'm not disappointed with the Court of the Wakeful Eye content.
It's true, I did have my hopes quite high. Because, you know, the Dilmun Club. Learning the nature of Death itself. Gates of the Garden. The tigers — my god, the tigers in their own sovereign territory! Getting to the very heart of it!
And… well, those companions do have good stats. And the loot you can grind is rather high-level. But — that's all there is. Hey, I could have gone without any rewards whatsoever, just give me a story, please. A decent grind that ends with several sturdy walls of text and a few uncovered secrets of Fallen London. My character doesn't do it for the loot anyway, you know.
One more puzzling thing is the way of getting to the Court of the Wakeful Eye. It's situated straight behind Port Carnelian, right? It seems a little queer that I have to sail from Port Carnelian to the Court. Am I just going in circles to return to the same port?
I didn't mean to sound all offensive, though. The new content really is good, and it has tigers above all. There's just too little of it. It's like finding out that what you thought to be a book's prologue is really the whole book.
I guess I'm returning to waiting. Maybe I'll become the Poet-Laureate in the meantime.

Lucy van Helsing, phantom de sa fille, a breathtaking and inescapable lady, spending most of her time among the Bohemians, the Devils and the Society.
I don't loiter right now, but I like chess and coffee, Strage Pranks, Bifurcated Dreams and the like. I also accept Calling Cards.
Ask this shady individual to loiter or help with Menaces if you'd like. Out of Skulls for now, though.

Considering they are not actual physical companions, it would be pretty nifty if you could combine all four into a single "Council of the Wakeful Eye" or something of the sort. +10 to all stats, 1 Bizarre, 1 Dreaded and 1 Respectable. Folks who don't have access to Bifurcated Owl or the Ubergoat would probably appreciate the BDR.

Also, combining all 4 tiger faces into one would probably mean seeing the face of God.
