I don't think His Amused Lordship's confession is in the game yet.
Since the game states that only 5 of the 10 upgraded companions can be acquired this week, I think the only currently available confessions are:

- The Veteran Privy Councillor
- The Ambitious Barrister
- The Cheery Man
If so, next week we should be able to get confessions from:
- His Amused Lordship

Desperately looking for at least one Curate, I so badly want to upgrade my Cat; my Fancy-Pants Tigress demands a companion of her own and the Parabolan Kitten isn't old enough to hold a proper conversation (though she's endlessly fascinated by the Kitten's nature).
Preferably a second Curate's as well, as I'd love a Suave Henchman, but the Cat takes priority.
All I have to offer I'm afraid are two Cheery Man's, however.

I also made this error. I thought that the "Hallowmass, 1895" options would be available until time the healer hit. It is especially unpleasant as I burned 300 Fate on confessions with the intent of upgrading all my companions/spending for some other benefits.
Oh well, lesson learned.

Do you see the story but just with the two original options in it?
Hypothesis: the Curate-trading option is marked to be hidden when you don't have any Bishop confessions to trade, while the other two are not.

For those who still have shortage of Melancholy Curate's confession, there is a storylet (today) in LadyBones Road that lets you trade Bishop of St. Fiacres's Confession for Melacholy Curate's. I'm not just sure tho, if this storylet applies to all accounts or random.

I can confirm this. I had one Bishop with my main and it was visibile, now the option isn't visible anymore.

This isn't especially urgent since I personally have everything I want from Hallowmas, but I notice that the Luminous Orphan can trade all of her thirteen free confessions for the Lance...provided she simply exchanges one of the lower favour gaining confessions for one of the higher ones.
She can offer either the Veteran Privy Counsellor or the Ambitious Barrister for one of His Amused Lordship, The Jovial Contrarian, or The Melancholy Curate. I suppose she can also trade for the Cheery Man and just exchange it with the Blind Bruiser, if that's preferable.
Incidentally, Vazio traded all theirs for a very high level of the certificate before going North because it just seemed like the most appropriate time to get such a useless, wasteful, pointless bit of paper~

It seems that the Urchin friend of the Barrister is indisposed today as I cannot find
her at Watchmaker's Hill...
So as apparently almost everyone else, I would like to ask if it would be possible
to find someone who would be willing to trade their Jovial Contrarian's confession
for my pitiful Barrister's. I would be really glad if someone would deign to do this
trade.

I'd suggest you contact support anyway. It is worth a shot, and the notification being shifted to advertise the ES did make things a little unclear for some, and people spent a greater amount of money/effort on this than usual.
