You probably won't have private debating lessons with the JC (+20 pers weapon, from the mayoral election that JC won), so that's 10 less for you there, unless you have persuasive profession
companion - there are multiple that give 10, I use newly-born frost moth (renown 40 ... tomb colonist? reward)
Expanded inventory has more renown 40 rewards - society for transport, church(?) for home comfort
+1 from pc spouse, +2 from salon

Nope, neither transportation nor comfort have any Persuasive bonus. (Salon, Spouse, and Club give +4.) Without the passion, I can muster +49.
But I guess the real issue is the level cap. 200. I don’t recall any way around that. (I think I’ve had offers for Watchful, but haven’t seen the need.)

And, indeed, a big difference can come from overcapping your base Persuasive (up to 215), if you're a Legendary Charisma (or a Paramount Presence).

The Renown 40 bonus for Society is a +8 Persuasive transport.

1. Become a Person of Some Importance.
2. Drop by Veilgarden to become a Legendary Charisma.
3. Raise Notability to 15. (Have fun!)
4. Trade Notability for Persuasive via A Gift?
Congratulations. You are now 215 Persuasive. You can reset your specialization if you wish to increase other attributes. Get all of them to 215 to become a Paramount Presence.

Thanks — I think I have the best items (bar switching professions, which never seemed to make sense). I guess I have a Renown target now instead of just increasing it ad hoc.
