Missed Surprise Package?

A few minutes ago I got the Unsigned Message, and, knowing that my Notability is well beyond 9 required for 100% check, had clicked the A gift option.
And... for the sake of mine I have no Surprise Package in my inventory. It should be present at the top rows in Curiosity section, but alas, no box of random wonders is present.
It is possible though that I did mechanically process the box, but I'm fairly sure I'm not.
Anyone here had this issue maybe?

Sounds like you either used the Surprise Package without noticing, missed it in your inventory, or did not in fact have enough Notability to succeed on the challenge.

I had this happen to me a few months back. It was driving me crazy because I know I clicked on "A Gift?" and I had 15 Notability, so I definitely passed the check. Yet there was no Surprise Package in my Inventory.
Not a big deal really, but just confusing and annoying. It hasn't happened since so I thought I was making the whole thing up. At least this post makes me feel a bit better about it.
