The four outfit options are great, but max BDR is the last area of the game where I feel like I'm constantly having to switch my outfit in and out by hand, particularly with Notability having so many burnable uses now.

A fifth slot would have other potential uses too. Like a roleplaying outfit to leave on your profile when you're not playing. Or a stat reducing outfit when you're trying to level up faster.

The max possible BDR without Fate is currently 23, not counting the two potential points from getting a tattoo from Lilac. There's a fair number of different items available to you (and some which only increase BDR as you suggest).

I do feel bad for bumping this thread again, but I feel it that this should be continued. A 5th slot to accomodate BDR or role playing would be greatly appreciated. (If bumping this thread is in bad taste, please let me know and I will stop doing so)

I too find BDR necessary. It is tiresome as it is now. Perhaps a Fate-locked item could be added for extra slots, for those who want RP outfits etc.

If they make it six outfits, say Prominent for BDR and Fancy for... whatever strikes your fancy, everyone would be covered.
I would be delighted with just the BDR to be honest. The back and forth, especially when grinding notability, adds to the frustration.

Agreed. Half the time I forget what equipment of mine has the best BDR score and I always end up sorting through it on the rare occasions when I bother with notability. A 5th slot would really handy.

I think six would be great and eight even better.
I use one slot for the best 'combined stats' sort of the best average that works for 95% of cards. Adding four stat outfits and BDR the comes to six and I can easily see people having even more set they frequently (want to) use.

I am always kind of sad when I can't have my tigress as a companion because I need the extra few points of stats.
So yeah, I am all in with that request.
But a suitable name is indeed required for the slot.
Aura? Uber Clothes? Impression? Presence? (I guess a lot of people would frequently use this slot to become a paramount presence.)

That's actually a great idea.
But from another point of view, your profile is meant to be what others see you as, and in that sense it wouldn't really make sense for people visiting your character ('s page) to see them wearing something completely different from what they're actually wearing right now.

In the dark old days when there weren't even the 4 slots that we have available now, wasn't there an extension that allowed something similar? Perhaps the code could be altered to accommodate this feature until (if ever) FBG implements it?

I totally agree that we need a fifth outfit for those stats. May I also suggest that perhaps a few items whose only job is to increase the BDR could be added for those of us who prefer to play without fate? (something equivalent to the drownie effluvia for example.) or even some of the cheaper items at fadgett or dauncey's?
