Can someone confirm tomorow that going to Mutton Island whith the special zee-festival transportation will not reset to your quality in progress, such as dramatic tension and casing ?
I will soon have 400 of casing, it would quite distasteful to see it reset for no other reason than zailing .
At least some progress qualities are affected by such travel - running battle for example.

I seem to recall hearing that someone took the ferry fine, then misguidedly took their own ship back and had their casing reset.
So, don't do that.
So did they whistle for their ship and it came running all the way to Mutton island? Or did they smuggle their ship with them onto the ferry? (perhaps disguised as a relative)

As soon as you leave port, turning back to the Docks sitting just behind you is just as hard as zailing all the way to Corpsecage, or any other destination (other than those in the Sea of Voices). This implies that your ship gets teleported to some point on the Zee equidistant from all possible destinations.
Given this, it's not unreasonable to expect your ship to teleport to you if you need it while you're not in London.

I think you just order your crew to take the ship to Mutton Island in case you want to do some zailing later.

So judging by the announcement, there are no new items this year. If so, then I wonder how profitable/worthwhile is it to actually spend time on the Festival for end-game players (who have a destiny, all the items and all the Stormy-Eyed they need)?
Looking at the wiki, the sights can be profitable but they are variable, there are menaces to deal with, you are missing out on the London opportunity cards and Favour cash-ins, and it means a two week set back in Notability grinding.

There should at least be a new mayor item. Also those who want to raise Stormy Eyed at mutton island will have an easier time of it, since the ferry's so much better than regular zailing. Same goes for anyone who wants a consistent Docks favor grind.

What in the announcement made you think there will be no new items this year?
(I'm not saying there definitely will be, but I haven't seen FBG reference this one way or another). For comparison, in the recent Election, there was no advance communication specifically about new items...)

Just because there has been no indication of any new content whatsoever so far. With the Election there were prior comments in the Reworks posts etc that there will be new things to do and new candidates (which, in turn, implied new items). Haley mentioned "there will be new ways players can amplify their vote through social activities".
Obviously, I'd be delighted if there is new content. But *if* there isn't, I am interested in other end-game players' views on the utility of doing the festival.

Actually that is a good point. I hadn't considered that.
Stormy-eyed and Docks aren't interesting to me personally as I've gotten all the Renown content out of urchins and docks that I needed.

Unless there are significant changes this year (and indeed none were communicated), then this festival offers very little for end-game players.

I'm going to enjoy the Festival mostly because it's there, you only see it once a year, and a break from the usual grinds is pleasant, regardless of profitability. That said, I do have some Docks Renown to hopefully finish off so this year the Festival is still relevant to me.

I thought of skipping this year's festival, due to that reason. Nothing for me there. But I remembered... How I enjoyed my fisrt festival and was marveled at the sights. I have never been before at zee, and the Mutton Island's regular carousel (which I did not know back then it was regular) was creepy and hypnotizing. What does this all mean??? Those were some first strong impressions out of London. So I'll probably participate in this year's festival. It brings good memories.

Last time jenny had a unique item. Feducci will probably have one too.

The election content is rather unexpected! I like the story implications. I do wish however that the rewards were a bit more in line with our stats, so that you could actually profit from the festival a bit, or at least have the chance to profit if you persist. As it is, there is little keeping you to the festival after a few rounds of fishing (if that).
