Frankly, I'd prefer dealing with status and mechanical loose ends first - short storylets, not so hard to plan it all (no huge pile of connection gains to recode, for instance), out of sight out of mind and all this.
Oh, good question: why cannot you gain favours on conflict cards? Well, before it could be justfied with Connected-Favours asymmetry, but now shouldn't it be added? Maybe even 2:1 rate, still a better way for dumping unused favours. edited by Aro Saren on 8/8/2017

Is there a reason the Feducci Mayoral card doesn't tell you which option gives which result? Jenny's told you exactly what you're getting.

1. The Society item is Slowcake's Exceptionals. 2. As a source of Watchful, no - you're going to need a goat for anything seriously difficult and there are other cheaper options for BDR. However it is a good (though extremely expensive) option when using your salon which you might consider if you're after 15 Notability (this usually loses you the Matriarch). If you just fancy one but don't feel like paying there's always the chance to get one from a boxed cat. Minor correction, but "An Ancient Enmity" seems to be an alternate success rather than a rare one; the flavour text suggests as much. So you don't *usually* use the Midnight Matriarch, there's something like a 50/50 split, it seems. (Though it warrants more research, I'll try to stack up some cats and see how many times I fail or succeed).

After the recent conversion, I ended up with 50 Renown Bohemians, and I've obtained all three faction items. What is the most profitable use, now, for my Bohemians Favours? Is it worth the Scandal and wine on the faction card to obtain said Favours?

Also happy to help with nightmares, send sips of Cider, and plant battle.

The algorithm goes like this:
If Austere >10, you may leave and halve Hedonist. (It doesn't matter what level of Hedonist you have.) Otherwise, if Hedonist >10, you may leave and halve Austere. Otherwise, you leave without changing your quirks. edited by Tyrconnell on 8/14/2017

I haven't kept track. The estimate I've seen is 30%. If true, using the card 10 times will give you a net of +20 actions at a cost of 7 wounds. That's a good deal.
If it's 20%, then using the card 10 times gives you +10 actions for 8 wounds. Still a good deal.
Out of curiosity, how can you spend 1 echo for a Criminals favour? No opportunity card springs to mind unless I've been missing something. The app says it's 30%.

If you're purely going for money, you won't ever make back the investment from switching. 500 rostygold is needed to pay for those 3 favors, which is only barely worth it. That actually sounds really profitable.
Even ignoring other ways to cash in Favours (which are sometimes better), the regular "Call in Faovurs" options convert each Favour into 4.2 echoes' worth of items.
So:
- Actions: one action to use the Young Stag card, and three actions to call in those three Favours. Total: 4
- Value: 4.2 x 3 = 12.6 echoes. Minus the action's cost in rostygold, net profit: 7.6 echoes
- Total EPA: 1.9

The Young Stags were already mechanically better. At a assumed 90% chance the wine you could get is very slightly less profit on average than Affair of the Box, but it's one of the slower but more action efficient sources of Greyfields 1882, which is itself useful (for Presumptuous Little Opportunities, if nothing else, and now for buying Bohemian favours).

I have two questions for the masses: 1. Is there an item for converting Society Favours to Renown or are we waiting for one? 2. Is the Midnight Matriarch worth getting at all? 1. The entry in Slowcake's is the item you're looking for. 2. Depends on how you define worth.

Bugger, I didn't realise increasing Revolutionaries also increased Liberation of the night . . . (guess I'll forever have a low renown for them, oh well).
Is there any way to lower Liberation aside from what I think is "Lost in Reflections"? I'm happy to reset that story should I need to, but I'd rather not pay fate unless necessary.

What's the status of Call in Favours in the Flit for revolutionaries? The wiki claims it's 720 proscribed material for 1 favor, but I'm incredulous. Anyone know personally?
