I still have access to the "ring of roses". Would it be faster grinding Presbyterate Passphrase and converting them to antique mysteries then using prisoners honey to buy a key to the Royal Bethlehem?

Do you have access to the flit? Stealing antique mysteries there is faster than both ways.

Well, entrance to the ring of roses costs 5 tales of terror, and you're gonna need 50 antique mysteries, which means 250 presbyterate pass-phrases. That's 1250 tales lost, and many actions, and favours: tomb-colonies upon conversion.

At this point, if you don't want to use prisoners honey, you'd be better off plucking antique mysteries straight from Feducci himself, one at a time.

The Ring of Roses also can't increase Dangerous past 80.

If you've made your way through the Foreign Office and have a ship, consider spending a while in Port Carnelian. Audiences with the Banded Prince pay out in Antique Mysteries and Presbyterate Passphrases, and at a very good rate of return.

Well that has the downside of sucking up to those damnable tigers.
