Alright, I don't know how I missed this from before, but if I understand this correctly:
Using Notability 15 to boost your stats permanently to 215 opens up an option on the associated Unfinished business option. If you have 1 of 3 requirements, you gain a special quality.
Which leads to my next question, is there an easier way to get to Notability 15? I burnt literally 500 levels of my Society connections to get to it originally.

There are the usual ways.

Indeed, burning Society/Bohemian Connections via a Salon is the most effective for huge MW boosts. Of course, since these will convert to Favours/Renown any day now, the exact mechanics and cost will obviously change in some way.

The new social actions recently added (chess, sparring, and hosting dinners) also all provide some MW.

Going for it? I am well on my.

In about 8 weeks, I'll either be a Paramount Presence or very disappointed...

Should you have All Four to 215 in the end? Or could you still go to the Nadir in between, as far as you immediately visit the Barrister with each new advance?

It *seems* that eventually you'll only need the 4 London's Organism qualities (and not 215 in all qualities at once), but we can't confirm until someone achieves Paramount Presence through legitimate means.

The original version of Winking Isle (which only 3-4 people ever got to experience before Alexis pulled the plug) required the use of 3200 scrap items to make any real progress in Fasting and Meditating (anything else was a 50/50 chance, which could also lower your progress).

I'm glad I checked this thread and the forums when I noticed the Church Renown system kick over. As someone who avoided picking a specialisation specifically because of the fact you were locked into it, I would never have known about this new development and quest for ultimate mastery of all skills.

I will definitely be going for it as well, though as of now the only one I can fulfil is London's Blood. I highly doubt I'll be one of the first to achieve all four and (possibly?) Paramount Presence status, but I'm never one for that sort of competition. It's just nice to finally see recognition for the personality and mentality of those who resist specialisation and categorisation...even if that means you need to work four times as hard to become good at anything and everything.

So is it just me, or does getting all 4 relicker items seem like a way harder requirement than 1,000,000 pennies. I'd love to go the former route for character reasons, but that's one monumental grind of it's own that directly opposes goat/cider grinding, while the latter is a piece of cake if you're already pursuing those.

Really starting to wish I hadn't sold that Prince of Hell Location way back when I unlocked the Cave of Nadir, but I was a fresh player back then and 1560 echoes was the monetary springboard I needed to grab some good gear. Really coming back to haunt me now. Scrap is painfully hard to come by.

It's not that bad if you have all 4 card lodgings and grind urchins favours to turn them in for the call in favours in the flit card. Takes months or even years still but isn't a dedicated grind since it's card based. I'm 800 scrap away from my last item and I've been on and off grinding them since maybe a year ago as part of one of my vague end game goals.

What's this? New things to do added in my absence? Looks easier than Cider and I already meet many of the requirements so I'm in. Never really enjoyed the Notabiliy grind but I'm willing to suffer through it in short bursts.

Wait, 100 Influence? The wikia says 90.

I currently have 98--enough that I can't send out Calling Cards. What am I missing?

I believe the wiki is correct, the value was adjusted post-announcement.

Indeed, I can confirm that the requirement was reduced to 90.

I've got Watchful and Persuasive, and I've got 200 Dangerous now. I'm working on Liberation of the Night--this thread says 50 is needed, but the wiki says 40. Does anyone know for sure which is correct?

I only have Dangerous left to do. But I also need a Noman to sacrifice. And in order to sacrifice a Noman, I need to go to the Midnight Carnival where I intend to get Sun Scorched. Which means bye bye to London's Sinew for quite some time!

You know, the funny thing is I fit 3 out of those requirements (I think: how many echoes is a million pennies?). The only thing stopping me is the insane grind for 15 notability 4 times. Also grinding out ribbons since I'm at a rather annoying 98 influence.

Wait, they changed it to 90 needed? Huh. i guess I fit all 4 requirements.

...Any tips for getting notability 15?

I only need some mood cards and favours, since I want the Renown 50 Constables and Criminals condition, and I'm lacking the latter.

Though tbh I don't know if I'm going for the PP right away, for the moment it doesn't sound all that great.

For higher levels, cashing in scheme is pretty much the only practical way to do so. You should also be aware that to change your PoSI specialization, required for overcapping different stats, requires an additional 12 Notability (or a smallish price of Fate). For lower levels, side converting tier 3 items is probably your best bet. Also, if you bought many of the lower level lodgings, their opportunity cards might be useful for once, as they all come with some sort of medium-high echo item to Making Waves action. If you've stored Talk of the Town (or even if you haven't) parties can be useful as well (+20, 30, or 40 CP depending on your choices at the end).

If you played The Marriage of Feducci and ensured the marriage went well, it unlocks a global storylet giving 15 Romantic Notions. I haven't done the math yet but I'm pretty sure upconverting those to Visions, sideconverting to ToT!!, then upconverting to Uncanny Incanabula is much better than the tier 3 carousel.
