I seem to recall there being a spreadsheet with a list of various goals and achievements for FL but I can't seem to find the link. Does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks.

Is this the one you're thinking of? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U1IT6sXCvzz1yI3Jl3p5cLrw_udaqGnPDaK-6TXm-kg/edit

Really need to update this and polish it a bit, but so darn busy on the Surface! I just read about the PoSI specializations and it was posted almost 24 hours ago...

Some more if you're interested. Acquaintance: The Sardonic Singer it is indeed capped to 10 with that option. Didn't take a pic, but I decided to go for a 3rd possible rare(alt) success and there it was; quality can't increase.

Do tell me if you have any more ideas!

What's the absolute best repeatable way to grind ludicrous amounts of Cryptic Clues?

I've been relying on various opportunity cards and the like for quite a while, and while I'm now at about 30k thanks to this I feel like I need some more focused grinding.
The best way would be the University/Flit Investigating grind, but you can be locked out of that one. Aside from that, I don't think there's a better repeatable source of Cryptic Clues than Unfinished Business. You can get a few as a bonus on Thieves' Cache expeditions and Heists that make it to Mr. Baseborn's Papers, but that won't get you to a ludicrous amount with any efficiency.

Can someone from FBG answer what is meant by "abusing the mobile app's offline play feature.". I'm a bit hesitant to use the app, since I'm not sure if this is referring to the extra actions it can give you or if there's something I don't know about.

Polythreme does have a grind, but I cannot recommend it. First, you have the extra-long Zee trip to Polythreme. Then, you have to successfully complete three Polythremic Promenades per favour, and one of those will always be without the benefit of the guaranteed card, since the storyline is reset when you complete it. And then of course, you have the trip back once you have 7 favours.

Even for a faction with limited sources of favours, that would be a questionable use of actions. Given how easy it is to get Hell favours through Polite Invitations, it's even more unwise. Get yourself a Preening Macaw and some wine and use the cards in London. Maintain a bit of Scandal so you can draw An afternoon of good deeds and use the mischief option (requires Ruthless 4).

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Is there a good grind for Correspondence Plaques that's not card-based?

Still card based, but it's the best source of plaques: cash in Tomb Favours and up convert the Primordial Shriek. Not a big difference, but better than Thefts of a Particular Character which is the next best option.

The Intimate of Devils cards go away once they've convinced you to trade away your soul. If you get your soul back from a Bundle of Oddities (roll of exactly 200), the Intimate of Devils quality does not change. The easier option on the "One's Public" card gives a Bundle of sufficient value to regain your soul.

The first Term Passing carousel has some options which are locked or unlocked based on whether you have your soul.

There's a repeatable option at the Shuttered Palace which increases Counting the Days and which locks if you're soulless.

How does one get the links in their signature to look . . . neater?

What I mean is that mine and others' looks like a huge URL, but others have a rather nice/neat looking "Name" that you can just click to take you to the relevant page. I'm wondering what the coding trick is to get that to work?

Probably when drawing cards or when attempting a risky challenge. If you don't like the cards/fail you just reopen the app w/o syncing it.

In regards to Saguine Ribbon Sparring, is anyone else seeing a weird disparity in wins depending on who starts the battle? I've won 3/4 of all the matches sent to me, but all 5ish I've started ended in my death.

Might just be weird luck though, considering my small sample size. Is anyone else seeing similar results?

yes, me too. (i'm seeing you in "who else is here" on the silent river. guess the boat's gonna get overcrowded these days). Won 2 of the matches i got invited to, lost all in which I was the inviting party. Generally, the mechanics is still wonky, it crashed a few times.

The good thing is that thanks to one of the crashes I am now reasonably sure some degree of randomness is involved as I won the match, the game crashed, I refreshed which kicked me back to tactics choice, and picked the same option as the first time, but I lost the match.

I am trying to get my Renown: Hell up to 10 so I can finally get to the Iron Republic. Currently I am at 5 and having trouble gaining Favours with Hell. What is the best way to get that?

Depending on where you are in the game, some methods of acquiring them may be out of reach. Two of the methods below are not available unless you are a POSI.

Acquire the Brass Embassy lodgings. This will add an Opportunity Card to your deck.

Play the Polite Invitation, and talk to the representative from the Brass Embassy at the party. It's possible to get three favors per party, but you'll need flip cards to encounter her twice, as well as parting with some items.

Supposedly Polythreme has a grind? This will require a boat and a Screaming Map.

Fate-locked:
Undermine the Bishop's efforts in the Labyrinth of Tigers. Requires Flute Street, but not the Empyrean Redolence.
The general advice is to side-convert from Journals of Infamy. It's usually recommended to steal these in the Flit via Thefts of a Particular Character, although personally I prefer to run a Newspaper since I'm also trying to level one of the related qualities.

Probably some combination of up and side conversions. Affair of the Box will get you lots if you use that as your standard grind, too.

He has a wicket. He cares very deeply about the Bazaar. He doesn't like the Masters all that much.

Thanks so much! It turns out the reason I couldn't find a link to what I was looking for was because I'd actually made it myself and then completely forgotten I'd done it. However this is super useful to help me fill in a few blanks! Thank you so much!

Well, if you ever made something, can you check your Google account's sheets/docs? Maybe you have something interesting to share. smile
