If this was a year ago, I'd be navigating to a certain Candle Blog so fast right now for insights.. alas, I have no clue about ANY of the answers, except 2 or 3 colours of the Neathbow. I've been playing HOW LONG? And I know nothing.

Look at the profession items for some of the colours in the Neathbow (or check out Sunless Sea one of the quests is to retrieve the colours)

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.
No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Damn, these are some very enigmatic questions. There are only two I am sure of and less than half of the remaining ones where I can make an educated guess, at best.
This is going to be exciting.

Phew, I think - (heavy emphasis on 'think') - I've answered most with the help of the wiki, forum, and TV Tropes, but at least three have me totally stumped . . . one of those three I hazarded a guess, but two will probably take me a long time, so I'm glad for the year limit, as it may take me that long to find out XD

Well is says "Some answers are easy, others are esoteric, and some have yet to be revealed." so some of them are impossible to answer at the moment. We just need to wait and see what happens with any new content in the next year.

Are there prizes for having the most, or should we work together to answer as many as we can? I know some -- probably the most obvious -- but I can't wait to see what people think for others!

I feel like the location ones were already figured out, maybe around the last time of Mysteries, but hell if I'll ever figure them out without checking that.
I've got a surprising amount though. 8, with only 2 or 3 being guesses. A few more I vaguely know the answers but have to look a thing or two up. This is going to be fun! Though waiting a year for confirmed answers is...unfortunate

Is the plan so far to avoid direct discussion of questions/answers on this thread? If so, we may wish to create a separate thread for that exact purpose. That way, people can discuss the mysteries reopening here while avoiding any unwanted spoilers to the answers.

If a Mystery analysis thread is started, I'd suggest it go in the Salons.

Barring hints or outright answers by other people, is it such that some of the questions can only be answered by having played the Fate-locked content? edited by Rostygold on 7/18/2017

Well, as was said, there may be future content that helps with answering some/any/all of the questions. I do think some of them would be most likely impossible to answer without playing some Fate-locked/exceptional content, or asking someone who has. Also Sunless Sea/Zubmariner.

I wasn't around for the first Mysteries, having played for less than a year at this point, but I'm quite excited at what revelations this could bring: the identity of May, the first Noman, etc.

I got a few of my answers from the candle blog, so it's still worth a shot. And 13's a very lucky number anyways.

Yes, I know at least two off the top of my head that are answered in Exceptional Stories. Might be more. Though to be fair at least one of those can be deduced from real-life historical events. . edited by Akernis on 7/20/2017

I'm quite happy with the fact that I know quite a few answers, and I at least know where to look for most of them I think.
well, at least I hope I'm right.

I'm proud to say that I can at least answer two of those immediately (Long live the Sea that is Sunless). Others I don't know, but at least I have my Question (as the Seekers say): I don't know who put the key in the well, but at least I know which key in which well (or, at least I know of *a* key in *a* well). I don't know why Snuffers eat Wax, but I bet I know where I can go to find out. And I know a little about the Fingerkings...
Ahh, but some seem almost speculative (The Great Game quesiton in particular is almost philosophical in scope), while others seem like they have very direct answers that I just don't know: May? Opened Mirrors? Hmm...

one hopes that, since some answers don't exist yet, that a sufficiently entertaining answer would count as "correct", but perhaps I'm only entertaining myself there
