"This is a plan without a flaw nor any possibility of error!"

Hieronymus Drake: Gentleman scholar, big-game hunter, scar-faced aristocrat. Remarkably sane, all things considered.
Tanith Wyrmwood: Longshanks cat-burglar; Bohemian author; now, perhaps, something more. Bubbly, expressive, and affectionate. It’s not only still waters that run deep.
Telemachia Lee: Gentle lady by birth, brawling Docker by choice. Good company in the drunk tank.

"Restitution for the drowned man" sticks with me, because it was the card that made me realize there were two paths to go down Seeking.

McGunn/Bsymstad is on the slow boat, waiting to see if he can find out what death is. (I'm done with London for now. Thanks for everything!)

"How fortunate that you have come to visit, on the day when you are so very hungry."

I've only come across it three times or so. But it's so utterly bizarre...

It's possible people have forgotten that there is an actual devil in the actual Lord Mayor's office. A devil who is promising to look after people's souls. What is wrong with everybody?

You have spent _ Fate. The world tilts on its axis, very slightly.

It went away when Nex was implemented, came back briefly when Nex was dethroned, then it once again got replaced with "Thank you".

You don't have a subscription, but you are still an Exceptional Friend.

Isn't that heartwarming?

Sunless Sea.
I love the phrasing, the image, the everything. I read it and gasped at it+its context.

Of course, you don't necessarily consider yourself a "labourer". Or a "he".
