In order to distract myself from the horrors of SMEN, I want to ask everyone something.
What is the highest quality you have ever achieved? Or perhaps you'd rather tell us your most treasured quality?
No items, only qualities... ok fine, you can do items.

I'm very proud of my main's Master connection, though I'm aware it's not the highest level of that quality out there.
Madison Lavery has the highest level of a quality out of all my accounts, while Delmar Tramontane has a very nice Stormy-Eyed level (my endgoal is 77, so I'm very close).

We're not counting story-tracking qualities and such, right? I have Seeking a Prison of Flint 2000 but that's not something which had to be earned. (And too bad no items... I have some things I'm very proud of.)
I got my debate winnings somewhere in the thousands I think, but the only quality I can check right now is Touched by Fingerwork 383. I spent quite a long time on the Fidgeting Writer.
Most treasured quality would be Putting the Pieces Together: the Drownies 3. Both obscure and painful to obtain.

I have a Making Use of Bats quality at 50 (current aim: 77. Next aim: 100). It's stupid, it's useless, but I wanted my character to be an expert bat trainer. She has the resulting almost-500-Sulky-Bats army to do her biding, none of whom were bought in the Bazaar (except for the very first, who happens to be my alt today - long story). It's a small feat, it brings me little to no profit, but I'm very happy with my leathery friends and very proud of going this far.
Other than that, I don't really have the patience necessary to hoard things. I admire who does.

I had investigating 90 something when I was grinding cryptic clues at the university on my Seeker. Then I realized I could turn it in for even more clues in the flit, and it cleared it all.
I also once had like 20,000 primordial shrieks, after I tried to sell 5,000 of them, but instead bought 5,000, then tried to sell 10,000 and realized I was on Merrigan's Exchange and not the Sell tab.

I don't actually have anything particularly interesting in terms of quantity. There is my ridiculous 3.8 million brass from ages and ages of grinding (it'll be hell to sell off) but that's pretty boring. I'm mostly proud of the rare things. Like having all three steamer tickets at once, or a Ratty Reliquary, or the seven Fluke-Cores now somewhere in a well, or having both the Firebrand, Reforged and Missionary, Renewed simultaneously.
...and somehow when it came to treasured qualities, I completely forgot about being a Scarlet Saint.

Numbers not that big, but I'm proud that I had 321+ in every connection before the conversion that I took part, 77 surprise packages, 77 Counterfeit Head of John the Baptist, 77 Detective cards, 17 Trade Secrets (never cashed any), Acquaintance: Sardonic Music-Hall Singer 10 (requires 2 consecutive rare successes), 39+22 Water Dream.

I'm pretty sure I've seen higher, but I'm quite proud of my Terms as Governor at 105. I'd spend more time in the port if I could accept Social Actions there.

The two are mutually exclusive. Usually.
Last summer there was a bug for a couple of hours that broke the lock requirements on cards without any unlock requirements. Cards such as The Secular Missionary (though not the equivalent Firebrand card, which has a C: Revolutionaries unlock). Fortunately the card linking their storylines requires progress with the Missionary rather than the Firebrand. You also only need at least Intimate with a Revolutionary Firebrand 10 rather than exactly 10 to sync their progress, so already having finished the story didn't interfere.
So since I already had one of the two companions, the bug let me reset the Missionary's tracking quality and by extension the rest of their story, letting me get the second companion. Then I upgraded both at the Feast.

Other than my Scarlet Saint quality and my 17 Bats with Attitude, I think my favorite quality and items are my 777 A Touch of the Upstairs about You and my 777 Sun-Stamped Mirrorcatch Boxes.
Edit: Oh! I forgot about my 7777 Ridiculous Hats. Worth every penny.

You have probably no interest in testing this but is it possible that this would permanently imprison you in the Mind? At that level all the Stormy-Eyed challenges should be straightforward so you could never lower it and thus never escape?
(Or does it mean you would *become* Storm?!)
