Grinding for stains on my soul?

On my alt account for Mr Eaten grinding, I stumbled into a bit of a problem for getting Straveling Cats and therefore Stains on my Soul to progress with the storyline. After killing a few drunken rats and getting rid of my Someone is Coming quality, I now dont have any way to get the other 4 cats required. Anyone know of some good lower level Infernal grinding, as my character has a quite low Shadowy and grinding the Filt heists aren't nearly as reliable as they are for most other people.

Buy souls and grind up. It's the simplest way. You can afford to splash money around a bit on a Seeker.

I also found it very useful to side convert tier 3 items to souls. I had a bajillion cryptic clues from grinding sudden insights at the University; I converted those to tales of terror and then into brilliant souls.

In order to complete Seeking your going to need at least 100 shadowy in order to reach POSI status which should be enough to grind with unfinished business. You'll get a lot of suspicion, but you can deal with that fairly easily by asking for aid. If you aren't there yet it's probably worth taking a break ad grinding your shadowy for a little while. Completing Making Yout Name stuff is usually the most efficient method for that.
