Web game taking longer to load recently?

Is it just me, or is the web version of the game taking longer to load for about the past week? Is the server getting pounded by everyone participating in the election?

Probably so. Over the last couple days though I've noticed that the new election social actions specifically are having loading issues. I click on the 'respond' button and everything's fine. Click on a specific option and it takes a good 30 seconds to bring up the social action screen. Select a recipient and click send, everything's fine.
