The Exceptional Stories on the Fate page don't appear to be in chronological order any more. Actually, I'm not sure what order they're in -- apparently not alphabetical either. Can anyone remember the stories in the Heart's Blood season? I seem to have missed out on the epilogue.

The Exceptional Stories' names and dates are all on the wiki.

Why does everyone in the Neath speak English?

I mean, I can wave away Irem or the Fathomking's Hold as secret Neath magic, but the Khanate? The Chelonate? Or does the Admirality give all Captains translation dictionaries?

I'd assume that not everyone does, but those who regularly deal with London zailors and traders, for commercial or diplomatic purposes, do. Language of trade, and all that.

One of the sidebar snippets mention that handsome cab drivers (iirc) are overheard speaking in dozens of different languages.

And the Clay Men have their own language.
But even today, if you go to live in London you will eventually learn the (very familiar) language.

Hansom cabs - after their inventor, a Mr J. A. Hansom. Not that the cab drivers aren't handsome, of course.

Loamsprach also gets a fair few mentions in the Clay Quarter.

Another sidebar snippet mentions that the Khanate still uses some form of Hudum, a classical Mongolian script with its own unique alphabet. Presumably they also speak Mongolian.

I have tried to debate a friend and I managed to invite him, he received the invitation and accepted upon which I received a message informing me of his acceptance which I, in turn, accepted. But now what?

I find entries about "Preparing for a Debate!" on the wiki, but no clue as to how I could get there. I am confused and was unable so far to dig up any information about this.

Can someone please enlighten me or guide me to a source of information about this part of the Election event?

You take it in turns to prepare for the debate. Everything happens in the message tab.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Upon reading your answer I tried on my PC instead of using the app on my phone and then it worked.

Previously nothing happened upon clicking "Accept" and the confirmation message just disappeared without any further action becoming available. Now I received a different message, allowing me to "Respond" instead of "Accept" or "Decline" and I got redirected to a storylet.

So, thank you for your answer. I can finally start debating now.
