If your connected wasn't high enough, you wouldn't get any renown. If you have 100+ in any of those factions, contact support.

But if your levels aren't high enough to get you to 5 Renown you only get Favours. This way you'll be able to use the carnival option to get Favours and Renown for free.

1. Is there any big reason why you would spend 5 notability and take the shattering force,an Extraordinary Mind,a Legendary Charisma,An Invisible Eminence?
2. You can use the correspondence between players? Aka social actions with other players instead use for npc?

1. Only with the specialization, you can overcap base stats. Charisma has an option of seducing Amanuensis, Mind is mechanically the most useful for reaching SoTC 21. You can also be a Patron to other players, some people value that for RP reasons.

1. Each specialization allows you to raise ('overcap') its related attribute above 200 (to a maximum of 215). You can also take on other players as protégés (helping them to raise the attribute). The mechanical benefits of raising your attributes are somewhat limited — it can help with increasing Renown to 50 with some factions, and it used to be necessary to overcap Watchful in order to get to level 21 in Scholar of the Correspondence. There's an option on the Amanuensis card that's unlocked with A Legendary Charisma. That's all I know of.

The higher your stormy-eyed the longer you can stay. Most options reduce that quality and you will be kicked out as soon as it reaches 0.
Personally I like to have What the Thunder says at 18 before I go in as that means that I might draw the card that starts being Stormy-eyed quite soon after leaving.

Note that there are actually two options in the storylet to get the Urchins Renown 40 item. The "Accept the gift" option obviously gives you the item, but the "Refuse the gift" option is incredibly profitable and indefinitely repeatable. It gives an Aeolian Scream each time, gives 1 CP of Wounds, and costs 1 CP of Stormy-Eyed so if inclined you can get lots of profit. Just make sure not to go over Wounds 8 (or to instantly receive and accept a lot of Wounds-reducing social actions when you return).

I expect so. You might have to receive a bunch of the social actions before actually leaving London for the Mind, but while you're in the storylet for responding the autofire storylet can't activate.

This isn't a question, but an observation. Time the Healer does almost nothing to lower menaces. My seeker's been sitting around for almost 100 days (14 TtH hits) and still has nightmares and suspicion, and only just lost all her wounds.
Tim's* not so much a healer after all...
Edit: I meant time, not Tim, but I'm leaving it. Hmm... this gives me an idea. I should make an account that does nothing but heal other people, and call it "Tim the Healer" and he'll be 100x more useful than Time the Healer.

Just to clarify: You won't be kicked out of the Mind with Wounds 8. You can keep using this option if you wish, as long as you have Stormy-Eyed left. However, you'll need to deal with all those Wounds upon return.
(I used all my Story-Eyed on that option before claiming the Urchins' item, getting Wounds to 19 - very profitable if you have a quick way to deal with Wounds).

Anyone know if you can finish the Intimate of Devils storyline, still have your soul, and not have any “Known for Metaphysical Caprice”?
To be clear, losing your soul and getting it back without having a permanent quality change as a consequence would count.
