April may be the cruelest month, but May is the most uncertain. Happily, it's almost over, but for the remaining days, here's the place to resolve certainty - one's own, or others'!

One of the sidebar mini stories explicitly states a Cider owning person can return to the surface without dying. It always struck me as a bit odd, given that the cider itself is against the Law, but oh well. Also yeah there's no in-game way to return to the surface (anymore; there was with old seeking, and that killed you no matter what).

I see most of the sidebar snippets as word-on-the-street type of rumours. i.e. these come from unreliable narrators and represent what some people in London believe.

Want a sip of Hesperidean Cider? Send me a request in-game. Here's an_ocelot's guide how.
(Most social actions are welcome. Please no requests to Loiter Suspiciously and no investigations of the Affluent Photographer)

Spirifers are very slightly nerfed, now at 1.766 EPA on average, ignoring Suspicion. (No Connected or Favours, but double the Appalling Secrets.)

By my math Spirifage is down to 1.746 EPA, ignoring Suspicion. Before the nerf it was 1.797 EPA.

The Renown 40 items are Shadowy +10 Boots for Constables, found on the boat trip, and a Watchful +10 Weapon for Hell in the Iron Republic.

Anyone tried to fail a Brass Embassy robbery since the Hell conversion? Wondering if it touches renown and/or now gives criminal record.

There was no specific date given - we only know it will be in the summer.

No it does not. I tested it today. However, I don't know if it does anything to renown (the character I tested it with had 0 renown). You do lose all favors, though.

Well, when first came out with Renown system, FBG stated that it is how well known you are to that certain faction. Famously or infamously.
While I don't think robbing the embassy raises Renown, conceptually it should. And for that reason it really should not LOWER it.

I've recently returned from a pretty long period of abstaining from the game to let content build up and was unpleasantly surprised to find that I'm now getting a new action every twenty minutes instead of ten. Is this a new change that's been made? I could have sworn it was every ten minutes.

It still is every 10 minutes, they did something behind the scenes and now the timer is inaccurate. You still get your actions every ten minutes though.

(BTW: in case you missed it SMEN is back)
