The Pilot episode of Doctor Who Series 10 included a rather familiar sort of threat.
I think the Lorn-Flukes are behind the events of the episode. There are just too many parallels to call it a coincidence.
(Yes, I know this is a coincidence for copyright reasons alone. It’s fun to discuss, though.)

Honestly, Empress of Mars ended up being my favourite Gattiss episod siply because of the fact that it had Victorians in space XD (Also, Alpha Centauri)
