I just completed a Shrine of the Deep Blue Heaven expedition, and my reward was an "inscribed Diamond", but collecting it is a Watchful challenge that I have a 33% chance to succeed at. What will happen if I fail? Will I collect nothing or just something less valuable?

I believe you get the diamond either way, but being able to read the inscription gives extra payouts/lore

Strike that. Reverse it. Thank you.
You get a Primeval Hint either way, but if you can figure out the inscription yourself you get to keep the diamond.
