I have raised my Constables up to 241, and I have decided not to pursue raising it any further (aside from donating ten cents on the Faction Card). Constables are not a priority faction for me, I'll just be glad to be starting with a Renown higher than 5 for the first time.
Renown 50 for Hell is a priority for me. I currently have 450 Connected (and gaining at a rate of around 50 per week). My current plan is to grind to 650, then wait for the Constables conversion and re-evaluate.

Latest statement from FBG says Constables first, Hell second.

We don't know, probably around 7 or 8 at least, possibly up to 10.

So best way to get an alt and grow it at level 17 and do each other tournaments. Time, patience and a sheet to cover your battles so you can know which players are always available, timezone, speed of response. Not really needed to do all this because you'll learn, but it's a good way to have the active people on a list. If in doubt, just check their profile and see last echo even if it's not that relevant all the time.
By patience I mean that RNG may screw you bad, people may reply hard! First time champion it took me 123 fights over the course of more than 4 months, second was 16 days and 38 fights. Working on my 3rd rosette, but after 25 fights I'm back to Cunning contest.

Hello,
I am trying to get further on the Ambition: Nemesis storyline but have no idea how to get to the Iron Republic or where to start finding the key / Numisatrix to get the safe conduct required. I am still not a POSI (have to get Dangerous to 100 to get further on that story), am I able to progress without it? Any help gratefully received. At your lodgings you'll need to Chat with the Local Gossip and that's where you find the Numismatrix. You'll become closest to a faction which will determine how you can increase your Counting the Days; Great Game has options that don't require a card. More can be read in this guide.
After that, you'll need to become a PoSI and get yourself a ship to sail to the Iron Republic. You should take it slow on your Ambition as it can drain a lot of resources specially if you're not yet a PoSI. edited by Skinnyman on 3/8/2017

Are you specialized in Shadowy for your tier 2 POSI? If you're not I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get to 50.

I'll have to test it out after I use this card, it's not that I don't trust you, I just don't want to take any chances. I can confirm that no change of location/deck resets the cards you have in your hand anymore. It used to be the case that some places did, but now wherever you go you'll have the same hand upon reentering London as you did when you left.

You used to be able to haunt a friend on the surface while dead, but that's been removed for a while. Physical travel? Not unless you count the action that gives "Scorched By the Sun."

What is the fate continuation of Theological Husbandry. I just can't get my head around it. I bought Flute Street as well for the rubbery hound and I'm breeding monsters for that Owl. Does it end when I get it or do I have to sell my hound, er snake to the bishop? I already have 3 out of four serum-induced monsters and I just need that hyena and notes? Yes that's another mystery, where am I going to find those notes? I still haven't finished my other research because of that d__m fool Orthos and his "fleet of truth". Can anyone help me out?

You need to breed the horse and wait for a card it adds to your deck to start the story.

On a similar subject, how much Fate does the full complement of Theological Husbandry beasts cost?

Did drinking bottled oblivion used to actually give out stuff? I just downed 20 bottles (getting rid of my stats; won't need them up NORTH) and got a tale of terror and a memory of light on one of the actions. But a lot of the time I get "you were fortunate" but don't get anything but stat loss.

How far is everyone pre-loading connections Hell and Constables? I'm considering 500, but some part of me fears that not being enough.

Hell is increased via Church CC and Polite Invitation option from Brass Ambassador (Time Remaining 6); while increasing Urchin connection I sided with the little ones many, many times so there was a big loss from that CC. Constable connection was increased only via Shepherd card.
Other reliable ways are to sell Casing for both connections (11.25CP/AP I think) and Hell can be boosted via Soul Trade if you pick to be a Spirifer.

Oh, I know all that. I am curious how far people think I shoudl go, however. I'm using the flit for casing, but I was curious where a decent ceiling for it was, or at least where others are stopping. (I know the formulas used already)

Keep going until the conversion takes place . . .
It sounds like overkill, but I'd recommend going and going until it's converted.
Like, I would say a part of the reason people were annoyed last time was because the number in the conversion formula increased . . . people who thought they were 'safe' suddenly weren't, because they hadn't anticipated the formula being subject to such change and the massive increase in others grinding, which in turn pushed it up more.
There are people with connections in the thousands, while a heck of a lot of people are probably grinding like crazy to get to a 'safe' number . . . I've managed to get to 720 and 500 respectively, but - to be honest - I don't trust those numbers. If everyone else had the same idea as me, they're probably close to those numbers or beyond, too (like the other user whose roughly 500 in both). If you stop at any point, thinking you're safe, only to lose out on the 40 item or 50 cap -? If it bugs you like it does me, it's not worth it XD
Best to keep going and have too much connection, as opposed to too little.
