Flute street is behind a fate locked option on a card that appears after you finish an investigation that unlocks when you finish the university storyline.

The chance of getting a blemmigan from a specific box is indeed 1/1000 but depending on one's definition of "reasonably" is not the same as saying that one might reasonably expect to go through 1000 boxes to get a blemmigan.

The chances of getting a blemmigan within 1000 boxes are (1-0.999^1000)=63%. This means more than 1 in 3 chances that you'll go through 1000 boxes and won't get a blemmigan.

By comparison, 2000 boxes gives you 86.5% chance of success and 3000 boxes gives you 95% of success. You'd need to go as high as 4700 boxes to have a certainty of more than 99%.

On the other hand if "reasonably" means as low as 50% then you'd need to open "only" 695 boxes (and then have 50% of failing).

Key to a Handsome Townhouse gives a Person of some importance the chance to start a salon or orphanage. So I recommend to read for each lodging in the wiki.

I think it displays the top 2 attributes, but if there's a tie it displays them both and then the second place attribute. (Though tie means they fall within a certain range of each other)

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Actually, the fate option to defeat jack should let you find out about jack's origins too.

I think they've got different people working on different projects, so I would doubt it.

Oh, the hat is actually a companion - you really don't want to put an unfinished hat on your head. It could end very poorly for you.

For real you get a malus ingame if you equip the unfinished hat?

That's the reason why it's a pet, not a hat. Big Grin

How do I get to Flute Street? I thought it would give me access after I completed the University storyline, but I've got nothing and info is really scarce on the ground. I've just come back from my first island expedition, but I haven't spent any of my research notes yet. Is it a card? Or am I just not far enough along?

Edited to clarify a point.

You'll need to draw this card, progress and you'll end up with another card. Think the last will pop up all the time until you unlock Flute Street which requires Fate to do so.

If it's issues with Amazon's storage pages, I really doubt there's much FB could do about it. In any case, mine was acting up a few hours ago but seems fine now.

If I grind Collections of Curiosity for money, can I only turn in one per Bandages and Rust card? So if I amass a bunch of them, I have to flip a bunch of cards to actually make money?
Edit: Never mind, just got a card, and yes, I can only sell one at a time. And since each costs a favor, I guess that means I have to get 2x a bunch of cards to sell these things off now. Whee.
