A toast to Sunless Skies successfully reaching their Kickstarter goal.

I'm still miffed that I currently cannot get a Correspondence Sigil.

We're a bit overwhelmed! Thank you to everyone who is backing and getting involved. Now to ride this beast for the next MONTH!

A lot of people liked Sunless Sea it seems, or at the very least thought it was a good first attempt.

One thing that I'm really liking is the option to decide whether to have a new captain or not upon death (as opposed to fumbling in the options and then reloading a save). Mechanically it feels smoother and faster. I also really like the line "tales of my death were greatly exaggerated".

Oh, and having the world affected by the actions of prior captains permanently affect the world. I understand the rogue-like appeal of Sunless Sea but I also like being remembered and having an impact.

Smuggling has been achieved - just over £200,000 pledged.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

A very hearty congratulations!

Here's looking forward to whatever stretch goals there might be down the road. (Not to mention the tasty crumbs of lore I hope will be revealed from the Social Goals.)

Well, we've passed 175K. I wonder if we'll double the goal in as many days?

I think what truly astonished me was that all three of the £1000 pledges were gone within the first 100 backers. If I'm recalling correctly the three £2500 selections weren't far behind. Even with the assortment of other kickstarters I've backed, seen, or been somewhat involved with, the very upper tiers like that frequently went un-selected.

Speaks volumes about how well-regarded and trusted FBG is to deliver great content.

And now to return to harbouring a (not actually real) bitter resentment that my self-inflicted Correspondence-on-flesh marking was not RTed on "the Twitters".

Saevitia's profile and appearance! [Gone NORTH]

Now playing Esméralda, Saevitia's former helmswoman and moralistic Campaigner; she looks like this.

I'm usually up for RP. Social actions are generally accepted; those with in-character RP invitations are most likely to be reciprocated.

Very busy RL, saw when it came live and I only managed to check it now. From the time stamps I should understand that it was fully funded in 4 hours?
I didn't even have time to back it and... just amazing!
Big congratulations for FBG on this amazing campaign!

Yeah, the rate seems to be, roughly:
  • 4 minutes: 10%
  • 20 minutes: 25%
  • 2.5 hours: 75%
  • less than 4 hours: 100%

Impressive

Fail Better people: are you going to add any funding goals, now that the primary goal has already been reached?

You mean Stretchgoals?
There already 3 Stretchgoals, 2 of them already achieved.
You can see them either in the second Update on the kickstarter page or when you scroll down the campaign page you can find them too.
